He moved away from me without a word. He held my wrist as he took me to a room. "Where are you taking me? Please this is a misunderstanding , I'm supposed to be at the gala right now." I said as I started panicking.
"Then what are you doing out here, huh?" He brought out whine and 2 glasses and placed it on the table. What is he planning to do, why'd he bring out wine? " I only came out for fresh air." I said as I panicked.
Just then I remembered I was the one chosen to marry the so called Alexander Wilson. I decided to threaten this gorgeous man so I can get out of here besides Xavier said their the most powerful family in New York. I'm sure this man will let me go after listening to what I had to say. Immediately a certain kind of confidence sparked my eyes. I folded my arms across my chest and raised my chin and looked at him. A small grin fell on my lips. "If I were you I wouldn't pit another mans wife in my room." I said to him in a serious tone. He lifted his head to look at me and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Is that so?" He said as he got comfortable on the couch crossing his legs and sipping on his wine. "So tell me about this husband of yours!" He looked at me with an expressionless face, his cold dark eyes staring at me so intently, like he was starring in to my soul. I took a breath trying to push my nervousness aside, if I wanted to get out of here I had to be 100% confident.
"Oh the I guess that you haven't heard that I'm Alexander Wilson's wife , it was supposed to be announced tonight!"
A mischievous grin appeared on his lips and I gulped. "Look Imani there's no point of trying to threaten me with myself. Come sit, I won't do anything to you well at least for now.
My eyes widened and he just laughed at me. "Wait who are you exactly?" I asked " I'm your husband. Now come sit I have a few papers I need you to sign that's why I brought you here." He said as he walked into another room.
Here I was thinking I was fooling someone just to find out I just walked into the lions den
