I would be lying if I said this wasn't the happiest I've been in my life. I don't know what happened to Neah but she became out of sight and out of mind. Sebastian and I, for the past two weeks, have been going out on actual dates.

We went to the beach and I beat his old ass in volleyball. Then we had sex when the sun was setting. After that we went to a shooting range. He kicked my ass at that.

"Hmm, I guess aside from sex and cooking you are good at something else." I teased.

"Oh haha, very funny."

Next we had dinner in the living room, kicking it off with sex for hours. We raced each other, went to the gym and of course he beat me in doing more sets since he's a man and quite bigger than me.

"I guess this explains where I get my stamina from huh?" I didn't give him sex for that one which he complained about.

I tried cooking, nearly burned the kitchen down. But aside from going out to different places and having sex. I decided to take it up a notch. Skating and smoking.

I pulled him closer to the park and he groaned. "I'm not sure about this."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun." It's late, probably around one in the morning. It's best to be out this late at the park since nobody is out here. We reached the bench and I took a seat. Sebastian took a seat next to me and exhaled.

"Don't be a party pooper."

"I'm only doing this once, after that is a no go."

"Fine by me." Took a small bag from my jacket pocket and a lighter. There are two joints inside. It a while to get him to agree to getting high with me. He said he didn't like the idea of smoking or smoking at all.

And since he's never had one I did my best to convince him to just have one blunt. That's all.

"Here." I lit his and handed it out to him. Sebastian took it and examined it with a long face. I shook it off and lit mine, inhaling a few puffs.

"Easy peasy."

"Hmm...so I just suck it in?"

"Basically yeah. But don't let the smoke sneak up on your tonsils and make you choke. But you'll eventually get the hang of it."

I stared at him and he hesitated before putting it between his lips. The bottom sizzled as he inhaled and blew it out. Sebastian choked and I snorted.

"I told you so."

"Damn that's...that's something else."

I grinned and took a few more puffs of smoke before getting up. "Watch me old man." I set my board down and skated off around the park. I watch him as he smoked leisurely.

I did a few simple tricks before making my way back over. He didn't agree to riding the skateboard though, something about not wanting to break his hip early.

I came to a stop, retaking my seat. "Is it good?" He shrugs, getting the hang of controlling the smoke. "You look like a natural."

"Here. I can't finish it." At least he got most of it.

"That's fine. But this now makes you cool dad." I tease. Sebastian rolled his eyes with a small smile and I out both of them. I shouldn't have asked him to do that.

"Sorry for asking you to."

"It's alright. Now I know what it tastes like. I don't like it."

I leaned onto his arm and he raised it. I changed course of direction and laid onto him lap, propping my foot up on the bench. It really has been two weeks of this. Just us. To be honest...it feels kind of empty without Neah around.

I feel sort of guilty, but she still lied and used me. Then she threw Sebastian to the dogs like he isn't her father. I would kill to have my dad get back to the way he was to protect me.

"Do you miss Neah?" I ask quietly. Sebastian gazed at me and his brows dipped.

"Yeah."

"Did you try calling her?"

"Every day. She wouldn't answer."

It made me angry. "Why is she doing this to you? You only did what any dad would do and that's help his daughter."

He sighs, brushing my hair back. It grew out. My wolf cut doesn't look like a wolf cut anymore.

"She'll come around. She's still young and I understand that young people do crazy things. I just didn't want to see her get hurt is all. I hope she's okay." He whispers.

"It's been two weeks, Sebastian."

"She needs her time to think. I had mine."

"You're an amazing dad Mr.T."

He grins. "I'm serious. Do you know how much I envy it all? To have a dad as good as you? My dad hadn't called me or texted me once after I left. It's like he stopped caring." Tears fell down the side of my face as I tried not to cry.

Sebastian brushed my cheek lightly with the back of his thumb. "Did you try talk to him?" I shook my head.

"Well maybe the reason of him not calling you is because he feels so guilty that he doesn't think he deserves it. Of course he cares and worries about you giving that you're his little girl. But as dads...we wait for our little ones to come back. He could be waiting on you to call. That to him would mean that you forgive him."

I wiped my eyes and Sebastian continued caressing my cheek. "You think so?"

"It's what I know, Beck. Call him when you're ready and you'll see what I mean." I sat up, facing him. I kissed him and of course he returned it.

"Thank you for being here for me, Seb."

"Seb?"

"Yeah, you don't like it?"

He chuckled and shook his head dismissively. "I haven't heard it in a while that's all." Oh, his wife. "Well, leads get back home. Smoking was not all that fun."

"If you don't want the high to set in drink water." I yawned and got up, grabbing my board. Sebastian took hold of my hand and we both trudged over to his truck. We got in and he turned the heater up. I sat back and eased my eyes closed.

I'll call him in the morning. I miss my dad.

~

I was going to call him Seb in earlier chapters but I thought y'all would've despised the name until I saw someone call him Seb continuously so yes, the nickname stays hehe 😜
