Chapter 26: Long time no see- Part 2

Location: colony

N and E's hug had gone on for a while. Eventually Uzi coughed into her hand, "soooooo... when will you be going?", asked Uzi, speaking quickly.

E squinted at Uzi, "what?", he wasn't sure if he miss heard her or if Uzi was genuinely that impolite.

Seeing E's unamused look Uzi tried to recover, "I-I mean! Like what are you going to do now!? Does it just so happen to involve leaving?!", asked Uzi, frantically trying to come off as innocent but absolutely failing.

E let go of N, "well... since L and P are after me... I think it's best if we all hide out here... until we do something about my old squad", answered E.

Hearing E's response, Uzi had an unpleased look on her face but N was the exact opposite. Sporting a giant smile and a wagging tail, N pounced onto E, giving him an even bigger hug, "OOOOH! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!" Declared N.

N suddenly got an idea as he looked over at V, "hey so if it's not safe outside the colony then does that mean that~...". V started to see where this is going, "uh oh". N smiled even more, "V can stay too!?!?!", Squealed N like a school girl.

E looked over at V. He gave her a smug look, "yeah... I think it does...", answered E.

N Squealed again. "OH GOD!", Cried V as N literally leaped at her like a wolf pounces on a deer, pinning her to the floor.

N and V were face to face, "Looks like your stuck with me now V!~", giggled N. "N... get off me...", V gasped for air as N crushed her beneath his weight.

E came over and lifted to two up, then hugging them together in a group hug, "awww I missed you two!", said E as he and N chuckled with joy whilst V rolled her eyes.

Then, down the hallway Winston showed up. "Hey where's the murder drone!?" Asked Winston, pistol in hand.

Winston then noticed how chummy the three disassembly drones were being, "uh, I guess everythings fine".

Thad then came running around the corner, Katana drawn, "is everyone alright!?", asked Thad, his sword form has seemed to have improved.

E then looked over at Thad, "green eyed kid?", asked E recognising Thad. Thad was confused, "excuse me?", asked Thad.

E let go of N and V and walked up to Thad, "yeah, you're the drone I pulled out the pile of corpses!", answered E. Thad then realised who E was, "that was you!? Wow thanks for pulling me out! I would of been toast if it weren't for you!", Thad thanked E.

Winston put away his pistol and approached E, "so, this kind gentleman saved your life Thad?", asked Winston.

Thad nodded his head, "yup!". Winston reached his hand out to E, "well sir. For that I'd like to welcome you to the colony". E took Winston hand and shook it, "thanks".

"I gotta say I owe you one. If there's anyway I could pay you back I gladly will", offered Winston. E smiled, "well thank you sir. Well there is something. Me and my friends over there, N and V, aren't safe outside so we were planning on staying here till we can defuse the situation. So is there any chance we could have a place to stay?", asked E nicely.

Winston nodded his head, "of course! I'll see what I can do!", said Winston.

Meanwhile Uzi had her jaw hanging open in disbelief, "Wait, wait, wait! You're really going to trust this guy that easily!? You've only just met him!", protested Uzi.

Thad looked over at Uzi, "Zi, he saved my life! Plus if he's cool with N and V then he's cool with me!", said Thad.

Uzi scoffed, "I saved the whole colony! Twice!! And I didn't get my own apartment!", complained Uzi.
