Chapter 17: Crossing paths- Part 4

N had a sleepless day. Not wanting to confront his strange dreams he opted to stay awake for the rest of the day.


Location: spire
Time: 9:00 pm

V woke up dangling from the ceiling. She unwrapped her tail and softly drifted down to the floor.

V stretched her arms in the air and let out a big yawn before taking a step forward.
Which landed on N.

V was confused about what she was stepping on until she looked down and saw her peg foot on N, lying tiredly on the floor.

N noticed V's foot digging into his chest, "good night V" said N, he sounded raspy as V's foot pressed where would be his lungs if he had any.

V took her foot off N, "N the frick are you doing on the floor!?" V was surprised to see N look so... tired.

N yawned, "Eh, couldn't sleep." Said N nonchalantly. V raised an eyebrow, "and why's that?" Asked V.

N's eyes widened, he didn't want V to know that he was having dreams about the a mansion, she'd think he's crazy, "O-oh, n-no reason- no reason at all!" N sprung off the floor and started walking away.

V just sighed, "alright then".

V turned around to walk off but then she heard N, "h-hey V. Can I ask you a question?" Said N nervously.

V turned around, "sure" she said casually.

N took a deap breath, "have you, seen strange things while... you sleep?", asked N, still nervous.

V shrugged, "all I see are dreams which we all know are just our memories being played back." Replied V.

N looked a little bit sad hearing this, "oh... okay then. Have a great night!" Said N, forcing a smile and a cheerful tone. N then walked off.


V was confused why N would ask this seemingly random question but just shrugged it off as N being N.



Sometime later...

N, V and J were gathered around a makeshift table. "Alright. As you all know we have a rouge prisoner. I thought they would have something of use but clearly they do not. So my super amazing and flawless plan B is that we use the rouge as a way to get into the colony" explained J, standing ontop of the makeshift table.

V raised an eyebrow, "and how will we do that?", she asked unenthusiasticly. J gave an annoyed look at V, "I was about to get to that".

Her voice was strained in frustration before J cleared her throat, "*ehem* We will use the rouge as a bargaining tool. We'll all walk up to the colony, knock on the door and tell them that we will kill their beloved bitch drone if they don't open the door. Then they will open the door, because they are idiots, and we will kill them all. Make sense?".

N and V simply nodded.

J sighed, "are you two just nodding to whatever I say, again?"

N and V simply nodded.

J groaned, "whatever! Good enough! Okay V grab miss eggplant and then let's move out!", instructed J.


'Ugh don't tell me what to do! You're not my mum J! Ugh whatever!', V didn't enjoy taking orders, especially from the stuck up squad leaders... especially M... but V knew she didn't have a choice as J controls what will happen to N so therefore J basically controlled V.

Thankfully J gives V plenty of opportunity to escape her problems with the sweet bliss of violence V had so horrifically gotten addicted to in her times of desperation.


When V walked into the pod the first thing she saw was Uzi fast asleep. Seeing this, V decided to take this opportunity to get up to a bit of mischief.

V changed one of her hands into a horn and gently grabbed the front of Uzi's hat with her free hand. V then pressed her horn right next to Uzi's face and after a minute of suspense...


"DROOOOOOOOOT!!!!"

The ship horn went off, startling Uzi as V pulled her hat down over her eyes.

Uzi frantically looked around not being able to see anything, "WHAT THE F*CK WAD THAT!!?" Yelled Uzi in panic.

V just gave off her maniacal laugh, Uzi gritted her teeth, "well then I guess you must be V!?".

V bowed, "pleasure to make your equaintance" mocking Uzi. Uzi spat at where she assumed V was, "murder drones like YOU discust me! N's told me everything about you and your horrific actions, I have no idea what he see's in you!".

V just grabbed Uzi and pulled her out of her chair not bothering to cut the rope that tied Uzi to the chair.
