Chapter 20 A Cruel Storm

I have dedicated my life to her...I have nothing else...no one else. Just the icy tundra of my mind to keep me company. Ash walks through a blizzard consuming the strange forest she is surrounded by as she makes her heavy steps something ate away at her mind as if she forgot something that was long buried in the snow but as if one que a bright flame grew in the distance illuminating the sky as the blizzard seemed to lift there the warmth called to her as she reached out she suddenly felt soma's cheek as she snapped back to reality.

"You okay Ash? I find this adorable but we aren't in the best situation to be joking around." Soma and Ash lock hands as Ash blushes hard and looks away as the rest of the wolves stand outside the capital gates as fires rage on inside. "Astrid you got anything for us?" Astrid's eyes were glowing a bright purple as she tried to see ahead. "The royal family is in danger! Calamity is trying to capture them as we speak!" As Astrid says seraphim scoops up everyone and leaps into the city as they see marauders wreaking havoc on the people. "Who the hell are these guys!?" Sasha asks as she peeks over Phim's head. "These are the serpent's apostles! Bronya had found a lot of information on these people." Bronya nods proudly as she relays the info. "Then we have only one option wolves!" Yuri unsheathes his sword as everyone else does the same. "Save as many as you can! Seraphim punch us a hole into the castle!" Seraphim roars out as she draws the attention of everyone the wolves all leap down and spread out as Seraphim leaps up and flies into the capital blasting a hole into the gate as she circles the capital.

Bianca stands ready to fight against Zane her stance is sloppy at best and she is shaking as he points his scythe at her. "Can you truly fight against me when not even they could?" Bianca was scared out of her mind but she couldn't give up now with everyone!- suddenly the wall opened up beside them as a taser tagged and zapped to the point she collapsed as soon as it stopped. Zane looked over to see Crystal had finally made her reentrance as she pulled her taser back and pocketed it. "Did I miss something?" Zane simply sighs as he lifts Bianca's body onto his shoulder. "Gather the Raven queen and tell the others we are leaving." She salutes playfully and looks at the two holes in the wall before sending a drone to shock Hulda and Ruda back awake she moves over to Flax and Akuma and steps back for a second as Flax is still sobbing into Akuma's chest.

"Oh wow uhm-we are heading out you know how Zane is...you have a few minutes I'll try and keep him busy so uhm...sorry I suck at these things." Akuma smiles somberly at her as she picks up Flax who has no more tears left to cry she just stares blankly at Akuma. "We won't need that extra time at least...not right now." Crystal nods as she opens a portal to transport Jiro's body but just before Akuma takes one of Jiro's masks for safe keeping as her body disappears. Hulda gets shocked and immediately grabs the drone as she hears Ruda laughing beside her. "What's so funny?" Ruda peeks her head out as she grabs her drone and plays with it tossing it up and down in the air. "Eh, the fact that I was awake that whole time~ no one here has yet to make me even sweat although little Bronya has my interest." Hulda simply groans and gets out of the hole in the roof she landed in. "Try not to sound like a pervert while you do that Ruda...but seriously take these battles seriously." "Why take something seriously when it doesn't excite you anymore? Jormie can try all she wants to hurt me but I have had eons to grow numb to pain...and yet I still miss that feeling." They both leap back inside the castle and see the rest of calamity gathering the queens.

"Alright then! Let's burn down the castle just for the hell of it!" Crystal yells out with the absolute rush of excitement she got from exploring the hidden passages and also finally getting to use her taser for once Ruda immediately gives her a thumbs up as Zane immediately shoots down the idea. "We are villains, not arsonists, that will just bring unnecessary heat towards us." They all laugh as Zane groans even harder as he regrets his life decisions. "And what about the fox and the traitor?" Zane stops and looks up for a moment before blasting a support beam as the roof starts to collapse. "We are done here." As Calamity leaves the roof continues to collapse Moji's dragon appears and zaps her awake as she dodges the falling debris and snags Alice before leaping out of the castle she lands on Raijn to break their fall as the castle begins a chain reaction and crumbles to the ground before exploding. "Gods what did they have in there!?..." she looks at the unconscious Alice and wipes some blood off Alice's face before she once again falls unconscious from fatigue.
