Chapter 9 "WATCH OUT!!"

POV: tomioka

I was sent on a mission with tanjiro and the others. Inosuke wouldn't stop trying to get me to fight him and zenitsu was whining like a baby.

"Sorry about them tomioka-san.." tanjiro said sheepishly. I look at him and give him a thumbs up. He gave me an awkward look. I start running ahead and they try to keep up. Tanjiro seemed to catch up with me quickly, even with a box on his back.

I look back at the rest to make sure they are still in sight. Inosuke seems to really try to get me to fight him and zenitsu...

I let out a sigh and instantly stop making tanjiro bump into me.
"ACK-" he looked at me confused as why I have stopped. I turn around and let the others catch up to me.

"Alright, I sense that there is a demon near. I want you guys to be careful. The demon seems to be powerful. There is a possibility that it is a lowermoon, or an uppermoon." I explain to them.

Zenitsu instantly bursted into tears and screaming. Inosuke yells at him to make him shut up. I just stare at them with a weird look, tanjiro seemed to notice my face and made an awkward face.

I walk off and tanjiro follows, leaving inosuke and zenitsu alone.

POV: tanjiro

After a few minutes of walking with tomioka-san, I smelled blood. "Mr. Tomioka.." I called out to him. He looked down at me with a confused look.
"I smell blood.." I said with a serious tone.
He seemed to get what I was talking about and I pointed into the direction where the smell of blood was coming from.

He nodded and ran towards it with me following from behind.

He got to the place first and I see him already battling the demon.
"Mr. Tomioka!!" I yelled.
He looked back at me and the demon took that chance to attack him. Before the demon could hit tomioka I sliced its hand off.

"So..ur a hashira?" it asked and pointed to tomioka. He ignored the demon and charged at it again.

It quickly dodged and I came in to attack it too.

"Water breathing, First form: Water surface slash." giyuu said calmly as he attacked the demon using his water breathing. He sliced the demons arm off but it quickly regenerated.

'The demon seemed so powerful. Is it a lowermoon? No.. It's to powerful.. It has to be an uppermoon.' I thought

"Blood demon art: terrorizing Twisters!" the demon screamed. Me and tomioka were instantly sucked up into a tornado and shot up into the sky. I let out a shriek as we started falling.

Tomioka grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. (A/N: Istg if someone says something dirty I'm coming for you)
He used he's free hand to use water wheel to break our fall.

"Thanks Mr. Tomioka.." he nodded at me and dashed towards the demon, very fast. The demon seemed to react to that and he used his fists to block the attack.

"You shit!" he yells at tomioka and tries to punch him but failed miserably. Tomioka took this chance to slice his neck but the demon was quicker..

Tomioka was punched into a tree.

"TOMIOKA!!??" I screamed and I ran to him.
"I.. I'm..fine.." he said, the wind was clearly knocked out of him.
He looked up and his eyes widened.
"Tanjiro watch out!!!" he yelled and I turned around

'Hinokami kagura..raging sun!'

I hit the demons neck struggling to slice it off.
Tomioka got up and helped me slice its neck off.

It got out our grip. And tomioka charged at it again and attacked. The demon quickly slashed his arm, tomioka backed away. I looked at him confused as I was attacking the demon.

"Water breathing, 11th form. Dead calm" he said

'11 form? Aren't the only 10?' I questioned.
Tomioka didn't move from his spot.
'Why is he just standing there?' I thought. After a few seconds he pointed his sword down to the ground.

"All you did was just stand there? Hehe.. Hahah!! Ur 11th form didn't do any-" his head fell off.
'H-how?' I asked myself. 'Did tomioka do that? Did he move at an inhuman speed so I couldn't see him move? How.. How powerful is tomioka?' I was asking myself so many questions that I didn't even notice that tomioka was right in front of me.

"Tanjiro?" he called out to me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Y-yes Mr. Tomioka!?" I stood up quickly. "Are you okay?" he asked, checking out my injuries. I look at him and see his injuries.
"Forget if I'm okay! Look at urself!!" I point at a huge gash on his arm. I look at his arm and just shrugged.

'D-did he just..?' I look at him in complete shock. But then he started to shake.
"Tomioka?" I look at me and he gave me a weary thumbs up.

And then he just passed out. I quickly catch him, worried about him and making sure he doesn't face plant into the ground. I see a crow circle around and kakushi start coming towards us.

"Hand over the water hashira, we will bring him to the butterfly mansion." the kakushi said sternly and I give tomioka to her. Then a kakushi picked me and they they started jogging to the butterfly mansion

(Sorry if this had any spelling mistakes! And this book has almost 300 views!! Thank you guys sm!! This chapter was basically a filler but with a fight! I suck at writing fight scenes but I tried my best! But thank you again for reading this book! It means a lot to me! Ending with 975 words!)
