Angelina Martin despised parties almost as much as Caitlin Clark did. Not quite as much, but it was still up there. She wanted to place the blame on Kaia. It was so obvious how she looked at Kate, and how Kate looked at her. That's why she wanted to say she was here- to help a friend. But as oblivious as the two were, Angelina knew the real reason she was there wasn't for them. It was for Caitlin.
"I mean, she's hot, right? I'm not insane?"
"Yes, she's hot." Kaia assured her friend, comforting her through her sixth drink.
"I feel insane." Angelina insisted, slurring her words slightly.
"You're not insane." Kaia insisted, her attention taken away by an alarm on her phone. "Shit, I have a paper due tonight. I gotta go."
"No, but what about Kate?" Angelina loopily questioned. "She's gonna think you ditched her."
"Don't worry about that. You just worry about getting some water." Kaia didn't think much about leaving Angelina there. It wasn't like she was alone. Caitlin, Kate, and Monika had to be somewhere. Maybe if she was lucky, even Kylie would show up.

Angelina completely ignored Kaia's words of advice, replacing water with her drink of choice-vodka. Kaia had anticipated this, handing the photographer off to her sister before actually leaving.
"What's shakin' bacon?" Angelina gave a loopy smile as she and Kate made their way to their friends. Instinctively, the former took a seat next to Caitlin, gripping onto her body.
"You smell." Caitlin said into her ear.
Angelina rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh wow."
"Of alcohol, Ang. You're hammered."
"No, I'm not." Angelina denied, now standing in front of Caitlin. "I just wanna dance. Come dance with me, Cait." She grabbed Caitlin's arm, trying the best in her weak, drunk state to get her to go with her.
