Mukti entered a classroom with nandini dragged behind.

'Whats with everyone dragging me today!?'nandini said getting out of Mukti's hold being so confused as to why mukti is acting like this all of a sudden.

'You tell me.. what's with this aryaman and dare you lie to me now' mukti crossed her arms over her chest and glared nandini.

'Wh-what about him..i..i t-told you that i like him..right'nandini spoke looking everywhere but at her while fidgeting with her fingers.

'Will you STOP this acting nandini..do you think i am blind.. can't i see how uncomfortable you get even when he holds your hand and you are saying you like him ...and what about today do you have any explanation for that' mukti bursted out on her and nandini shot her head up at her last sentence.

'Yes i got to know about it..why are you doing this nandini? ' mukti sighed.

'Its..its nothing like that-' nandini tried forming words but wasn't able to do so

'Then what is it like..why are you forcing yourself nandini when you clearly don't feel anything for him..whats wrong tell me dammit 'mukti raised her voice being annoyed at her constant denial.Nandini couldn't take her questions more.

'YESS i don't like him..nahi hai koi feelings..par jiske liye feelings hai uska bhi result dekh liya hai maine muktii..mujhe nhi samaj aa raha mai kya karu..i am..so messed up'Nandini broke down in tears and hung her head low after saying.Mukti was shocked would be an understatement.She took some time to process her words and moved closer to her.

'What do you mean nandu?' she said cupping her cheek and lifting her head up to make her look at her.

'I love him mukti..i love him'nandini said with fresh tears rolling down her cheeks.Mukti felt bad seeing her condition and engulfed her in a tight hug.

'Shhh...bss stop crying..come here'mukti rubbed her back for sometime taking her in a hug and then made her sit on a bench.
Nandini wiped her tears and saw mukti sitting there to get her answers so she told her about everything from the start and she was again in tears till last.

'You were going through all this..but didn't felt like to share with me for once nandu'mukti spoke wiping Nandini's tears with hurt visible in her tone.She was feeling useless for not able to help her best friend when she needed her the most.Nandini knew what was going inside her mind.

'I am sorry mukti i didn't wanted to hurt you ..its just that i was confused'nandini said holding her hand so that she don't feel bad.Mukti smiled faintly at her.

'But nandu don't you think you are doing wrong with aryaman..i mean when he will get to know about all this he will be really hurt'mukti replied.

'I know mukti and i am guilty for that' nandini said looking down.

'Lets end it here nandini..go and tell him everything before he gets too attached with you and end up hurting himself 'mukti said to which nandini nodded.They got up from their seats and were about to leave when they saw aryaman standing at the door who seemed to have heard their conversation.Nandini looked at mukti and she blinked her eyes in return.Nandini nodded slightly and moved towards him slowly.Aryaman too entered inside and walked towards her while mukti remained at her place.

'Aryaman wo..woh i never wanted to hurt you trust me..its just ..just that i was not in a right state of mind at that time or..mujhe khud ko nahi pata mein kya rahi thi..please forgive me'nandini stammered while fidgeting with her fingers but aryaman didn't said anything and kept looking at her.
