In the desolate park, where echoes reside,
Rui's footsteps faltered, heavy with despair,
A burden carried long, none could deride,
His heart, weighed down, burdened beyond repair.

The eldest son, he strived to be so good,
Amidst the whispers woven with disdain,
Divorced parents cast a shadow, they should,
Yet Rui endured, understanding their pain.

His mother, brave, bore siblings not the same,
Two fathers fleeing, leaving her behind,
Still, she danced in nightclubs, chasing the flame,
While Rui stood strong, her choices he'd find.

But doubts of self, they crept into his mind,
The burden grew, too heavy to bear alone,
Tears fell like rain, his solace he did find,
In the desolate park, where he made his moan.

Oh, Rui, release your anguish to the night,
Let not your spirit be forever bound,
Embrace the truth, emerge from shadows' blight,
And in your heart, a newfound strength be found.

For burdens shared are burdens made less strong,
And in the darkness, light can still ignite,
Let go of doubts, let love and hope prolong,
And find your path, bathed in the morning light.

So, Rui, arise, the weight no longer binds,
Embrace your truth, let self-discovery start,
With each new step, a brighter future finds,
And heal the wounds that once tore you apart.

In the desolate park, where echoes fade,
A sonnet of redemption, he shall thrive,
Unburdened heart, no longer be afraid,
Rui's footsteps echo, as he learns to live.
