Heat rushed down my spine. He looks at me with his eyes like he has been longing for me. His eye gorged on my dress. His Adam's apple moved as I looked into his jade eyes that I missed. I missed him, I thought about him when me and Joe kissed. I want to kiss his mask. Another inch and another he went closer. Making him force contact with me. I blinked constantly to see if this was just a dream. It wasn't. He is staring down deep into my soul. With emotionless eyes.

Eyes that went through depression. He thought about me too. He wanted me. I feel his vision paired with mine. Eyes don't lie. My mouth gaped slowly and I closed my mouth. Heat ate up my face. His whole body, his sharp veiny hands, I can feel the muscles underneath his cloak. I imagined it all the time when I was forced into contact with Joe. I was so flustered, I couldn't stare at anyone else but him. I can hear people passing by the tree we are hiding behind.

I could hear them, but I continued staring at C.M. He chuckled. "You missed me too don't you?" he teased. The way he teased me. It makes me liquid. My blood flowed and I could feel my heart beat faster. "I did," I responded. I can feel the smirk behind his mask. "You thought about me too?" he asked. There was a nervous tone in his voice. "I always thought about you," I responded. He chuckled. Get yourself together, Sophia.

"You won't need that." His voice got a little deeper and I could feel a sense of husk in his voice. We have never been in each other's embrace for more than 10 seconds. He grabbed my hand that had the ring and he slid the ring off my finger. He looked at the ring in disappointment. He throws the ring over the fence. "You are not Joe's you are mine now," he grinned. His grip tightened as I felt his lips curl to a sneer. I bite back a smile. I took a shaky breath.

My thighs clenched and heat swarmed my abdomen. He cracked a smile. "You look so fucking good next to me," he budged. He grabbed my chin and lifted it he inched closer and closer. My body heats up in anticipation. My body twitched at the sight of him dominating and making my body roll in a type of way. "I'll worship you until I get a taste of you without the dress Joe makes you wear," he teased me. I hate getting teased but getting teased by C.M. made me flutter.

My throat gushed with a soft swallow. His closeness stung my eyes. "Come closer to me Sophia," he ached. I stepped closer to C.M., he watched me burst his bubble with a slight curl of the corner of his mouth. "You are mine, not Joe's ever." His chest rosed and flattened when he sighed. His eyes etched mine with intensity. He still held onto my chin and he grazed his mask on mine. It was a chaste and awkward kiss, but the effect was wild.

I shuddered at his kiss. His mask was cool and firm. I gasped when he pulled me way closer and kissed me again, this time more deep. His hands cupped my face as he sought entry into my lips. "Fuck," he groaned. His breath was out of place. My dress strap was off my shoulder. "I finally got what I wanted for Christmas," he joked. I chuckled against his chest. He fixed my strap and rested his hand on my head. A loud noise got us both back to reality.

We looked at the backyard and it was a mess. The mess we were talking about was Joe Tumbleweed being smushed by a tractor. On the tractor was Hank. I was surprised to see Hank on the tractor steering the wheel. "My bad," Hank called out to Joe. "Fuck you," Joe rasped. "Good boy Frank, good boy," Hank said. "Who is Frank?" I asked C.M. He chuckled. "It's the damn tractor," he responded. We had a good laugh about that.

People gathered around me and C.M. "For Sophia!" they chanted. "What is going on?" I asked. C.M. looks at me with an awkward eye. "I kinda bribed them to fight for me by saying that you can fix the wasteland," he gulped. I chuckled. "Don't worry I can do that, but it would need more money and help." He looked around. "Joe Tumbleweed isn't here anymore huh?" he joked. "No shit," I backed. He took off his mask and looked at me with those emotionless eyes.

Remember when I say, Alexander doesn't sound like the person who risked his life to save me? Well, he saved me. Well started the rebellion to save me. I watched as his mask uncovers in front of me and the people that surround is. I expected C.M. to be Herrington's assistant. No, it's Alexander Herrington. "Alexander?" I called out to him. He looks at me with a small smile. I know he is scared to just unmask his face like this. I chuckled. "You were C.M. the whole time."

He laughed. "Yes" "No wonder why I felt some of your stares at me in class," I theorized. He smiled. "Whether I am C.M. or Alexander Herrington, I will always stand by your side," he reminded. I lift the corners of my lips higher. He pulled me closer. "You are mine now. Everything about you is mine. Which means your love, your body, and your personality are only saved for me." he teased. I rolled my eyes and just kissed him. This time, not the mask, the lips.

"The library and I missed you, Sophia. We have to continue the book we are reading," he said. "Right," I agreed. I saw my mom and she gasped at seeing me and Alexander Herrington hug. "I thought you were into C.M.?" my mom asked in a confused tone. Alexander chuckled. "I am C.M.," he stated. My mom rushed in and hugged me. "I thought I would never see you again," she cried. This was the first time she cried other than Dad's death.

"You better treat Sophia right," Mom retorted. C.M.'s grip tightens harder around my waist. "I hope so," he joked and Mom and I went into a laugh. "Alright, you two. Have fun," Mom said and walked away and joined a group of women cheering over Joe's death. Alexander was already staring at me with those jade eyes. "I can't believe I get to see you again," I exclaimed. He chuckled. "Me too." He cupped my face and kissed me with longing.
