Chapter 6

We rode for about thirty minutes, and when we arrived they blew a horn, I turned my head as much as I could to see where we were and the second I smelt the water and saw the cobble stone pasts I knew where we were. The Valley of Imladris, or but it other name Rivendell. Still hanging over the horse I started to kick my feet, but the elf that held me was strong, so I started to yell telling them who I was in elvish. But they still wouldn't let me go. Then when we entered the main gate to Imladris, my rider started to circle something, as he passed an elf standing on stairs I knew who it was Lindir so I called to him, "Lindir, help me!" and not a second after I called to him I saw Gandalf and heard Thorin shouting my name in dwarfish.

When they stopped circling the elf on that held me called out to Gandalf, but it was what Gandalf that surprised me, "My lord Elrond." I continued to shout in elvish but this time at lord Elrond. "put me down! Now! Let me go! Or else I'll-" I was cut off because without him in the saddle I would fall and I did just that. Elrond looked back at me and shook his head, then he started to talk to Gandalf. "my friend! Where have you been?" Gandalf asked "we've been hunting a pack of Orcs that came up from the South. And we found a female-elf in the midst of them all armed only with two swords and a bow." Elrond said pointing to me. still on the ground blocked off for my dwarf by a wall of elves astride tall horses.

"we slew what was left over from her handiwork, near the Hidden Pass." Still talking about me. not knowing that I didn't care only wanting to get to Thorin and the others. "strange for Orcs to come so close to our borders.'' He said in English this time. "something or someone had drawn them near." He said handing an Orc sword to his son. "ah. That may have been us." When the horses moved Thorin stepped out and I ran to him he took my hand and gave it a squeeze. "Welcome, Thorin, son of Thrain," "I do not believe we have met." "you have your grandfather's baring. I knew Thror when he ruled Under the Mountain." Elrond smiled softly and I scoffed at him and looked away from him.

"indeed? He made no mention of you." There was a long silence then Elrond spoke to Thorin but only this time it was elvish, but Gloin didn't know what it meant, "what is he saying? Dose he offer us insult?" I looked back at him and said "no Gloin he is offering us food." They all turned to each other to decide Thorin asked me if it was a good idea to take him up on it I nodded, Valla knows our men needed baths and clean clothing and full bellies if we were to continue our quest. "well, in that case, lead on." Before I could walk past Elrond with Thorin and the others he stopped me and said in elvish "we need to talk, Princess Aaralyn." "what I need right now Lord Elrond is to make sure my friends eat and take their baths before bed." After that I shrugged off his hand and walked past him.

After making sure everyone was clean and at the dinner table I went and took my bath, one of the handmaidens came in and asked to help me, I allowed it because I was tired. The girl used scented shampoos and cream rinse, then once my hair was clean I pulled in front of me and she washed my back. I had scrubbed the front so she didn't have to. After I was done I stood up and she wrapped me in a fluffy white bath robe, and she would only speak in elvish "I will go and set out a dress for you." I nodded and she went back into the room that adjoined this bathroom. When I was done drying off I walked into the room at walked to her as she stood ready for me to get dressed.

The dress she picked was a pale lavender, that made my recently tanned skin glow and my eyes more prominent, and my hair much more darker. It was two pieces, the lavender dress then the dark purple bodice. The sleeves hung off my shoulders and flowed to the floor in a pale lavender sequence, the bodice pushed up my breasts. Making them even bigger than they already were. The skirt was longer than me, so it dragged, the bodice had silver stitching of the Evenstar right in between my breasts, then the girl told me "the dress adjusts to your body size, so if you shrink it shrinks if you grow tall it will lengthen." I thanked her and then she moved onto my face she put silver eye makeup and light pink cheek blush on my cheeks and rosy red lipstick on my lips.

When she was done she did my hair. She had to take out my bead to wash my hair, and now she put six braids around the crown of my head the tied two and two together like bridges, and for my hair bead she took hair from under my ear and made a bigger braid than the last ones and put the bead to hold it together. She had gone to fetch a silver tiara, while I was soaking in the bath, the piece was made around the crescent moon that would rest right above my eyebrows, it's twist would wrap around each other and flow to the front and then point down and around the little silver moon.

When I was done I walked out of the room and to the hall I left my dwarves in. I didn't bother with shoes, unless I was out hunting. But now that I was always out I wore shoes but most of the flooring here was marble. So no need. When I found my dwarves they all stopped what they were doing and looked at me, on the way down the stairs that led to the tables, I slowly shrunk my sized so that I was taller than Bilbo but shorter than Thorin, and the girl was right my dress would accommodate to my body size, though my breast would always be huge no matter what body I was in.

I looked for Thorin and found him with Elrond and Gandalf, Elrond was handing back Gandalf's sword. Before I reached them Thorin stood up and walk to me, his tunic was open to show off my Evenstar. When he smiled I smiled, when he reached me his hands automatically went to my waist. I placed my hands on his shoulders and kissed him softly, then I laid my head against his chest. Taking comfort in his warmth.
