As he put those on I walked to his shirt and tunic and picked them up. Turning back to him I held it with the sleeves holes towards him so he could put it on. He faced me and I started to button up his shirt, and then his tunic. Then I picked up both my swords, my quiver and I looked around for my bow, but I couldn't find it. "don't worry love, Kili has it, I asked him to hold onto it." I kissed him again and we left my room to go to his, when we got there, both Fili and Kili were sprawled out on the bed they had hands and feet in each other's faces "back at the Blue Mountain when they were growing up they would sleep like that." I looked back at them sleeping and smiled.

As Thorin got properly dressed I sat next to Fili and Kili's heads, I moved Fili's fist from Kili's chest and Kili's elbow from Fili's throat. And I thought 'it's like they're trying to kill each other in their sleep.' I didn't move their legs for fear that I would wake them too soon. Softly I brushed away the hair from their faces, Kili our little archer, and Fili next in line for the throne. As I waited I watched them, they would stir, and I would hum and they would relax, "I would have loved to watch them grow, it must have been something amazing." I whispered to Thorin, "it was something, them running around and causing trouble for their mother and me, Kili would always shoot rubber tipped arrows at his brother and Fili would chase him." He said happily.

I giggled as I saw his eyes unfocused, thinking about the years of helping raise Fili and Kili. As I was talking softly with Thorin, Kili half awake grabbed my hand and snuggled up to it. I looked up to Thorin and he laughed. Smiling I looked back down and they started to wake up, when Fili saw me; he sat up a bit rubbing his eyes then only to lay back down with his head in my lap. With my free hand I started to stroke his hair. "Thorin how much longer till we wake them?" he looked out the window watching for a moment, "about an hour or two at the most, but we need to wake Balin and Dwalin so that they can help us wake the other." I nodded and moved to get up but the boys only tightened their hold on me.

When Thorin saw he sighed and shook his head. Walking to me he kissed my cheek, "I'll do it, you're going to need more rest before we leave anyway." "Thank you." He shrugged and left the room. I sighed and looked down at Fili and Kili, "I know you two are awake." They opened their eyes and smiled teasingly. "I'm going to go on a limb and say your uncle told everyone that we're married." They nodded and wrapped their arms around me, "long time ago." Fili said from around my waist and Kili nodded at my shoulders.

"Kili you still have my bow do you?" he stood up and ran to the closet when he opened it I could see my bow over his head, "yeah last night he tried to use it at the archery range but wasn't strong enough to pull back the string. As Fili got up so did I, I took my bow from Kili and held the familiar grip and pulled the string which pulled back with no problem, even in my smaller form. "Here, Kili stand here," I moved and put him where I was, "take my bow and show me how you were holding it." he took it and stood like he did with his own smaller bow.

Moving to stand behind him I moved his hand a little lower and put his other hand on the string, "don't pull with your arms, pull with your back," when he did it my way we was able to pull it back, not at full draw but enough so that he could do some real damage. "everytime we stop for the night I'll let you practice for an hour." He nodded and gave me my bow, putting it over my shoulder with my arrows and sword. "you two should get ready Thorin, Balin and Dwalin will be waiting the others up soon." The nodded and started to get ready. Walking to the door I told Fili, "I need to speak with Lord Elrond, if I'm not back in time to leave with you guys go without me, I will find you." He nodded and I went to look for the elf.

It wasn't hard, when I found him he was in the library reading a book. His back was to me and I didn't know if he knew I was there or not but I stayed quiet anyway. "it's not polite to spy." I moved around the shelves into a position where I was far enough from him but I could speak without shouting. "you wanted to talk, so talk." He sighed and closed his book. "I don't know why you are so hostile towards me?" "you kidnapped me from my friends!" I said a bit too loud, I calmed down a bit and took a step out of the rows of shelved books, "you know it not but, Thranduil is not your real father." I stopped and it was my turn to sigh. "I know." His eyes widened "how, you were a young child when he took you in." I nodded and continued my slow walk towards him.

"young yes, stupid not so much." I said walking down the smooth marble steps. "do you not think I would not notice how the others of Mirkwood looked at me, how the king looked at me, his son? In a place filled with fair haired and light eyed elves, you really expected me to believe he was my father." He looked away from me and I raised my chin to look at him better, "no I did not, but I sent you away for a reason. The day of your birth I had a vision, that you would fall in love and it would break your heart so for your own protection I hoped that the secluded forest of Mirkwood would keep out the future pain, but it seems that it didn't work." I was confused how would he know about my union to Thorin.

"I'm not stupid either, Aaralyn. I know that you are soul bound to the dwarf prince. He is a fine pick if it were not to end in death and heart break." I shook my head "what do you mean?" when he didn't answer I took a step towards him, "tell me what have you seen?!" his face lost all emotion, "I saw his death. At the hands of Azog the defiler." My hand flew to my mouth as a silent scream force its way out. "that is not all," "oh so you're going to break my heart even more?" I sobbed. "trust me it was never my intention to hurt you, but you needed to know, that even with him gone, something or someone gives you the will to love again." He crouched next to me, and touched my shoulder, but I stood up, "thank you, Ada, I know you mean well but I need some time." He nodded and smiled standing up and kissing my forehead.

As soon as I was out of the library I ran to my room and closed the door. I pressed my hand to my mouth to keep in my sobs, though the action kept in the noise it didn't stop the tears. Moving to the window I could see the last of the dwarves leaving, I smiled thinking at least I had one last night with him. Out the corner of my eye I saw a smoke circle pass and it smelled of the tobacco the hobbits used and a certain wizard. "they're getting away, that's good your plan of distraction worked then?" I said without looking at him, "for the most part, Lady Galadriel saw right threw it though. But she didn't have a chance to say anything out loud because not two minutes after she mind spoke to me, Lindir came in saying the dwarves were gone." I smiled to myself.

"Were are we meeting them?" he stood up and put out his pipe, "in the mountains," I nodded and we left.
