Royally Ever After: Part 1

Chapter 1: Reunion in London

Alex Claremont-Diaz stepped off the plane at Heathrow Airport, his heart pounding with anticipation. It had been two years since he left the White House and his whirlwind romance with Prince Henry of Wales had been made public. They had managed to keep their relationship alive despite the distance, but now it was time for a new chapter in their lives.

Henry was waiting for him at the arrival gate, his smile brightening up the entire terminal. Alex's heart skipped a beat as he rushed toward him, their arms enveloping each other in a long-awaited embrace. It felt like coming home.

"God, I missed you," Alex murmured, his voice filled with love and relief.

"I missed you too," Henry replied, his voice equally tender. "Welcome to London, babe. Welcome to our future."

Chapter 2: Settling In

Alex soon found himself immersed in a whole new world. He had moved into Kensington Palace, where he would be residing with Henry. The grandeur of the palace took his breath away, but what mattered to him the most was the life he was building with Henry.

Days turned into weeks, and Alex gradually acclimated to his new role as a member of the royal family. The staff at the palace treated him with warmth and kindness, helping him navigate the intricacies of his new life. They soon became like a second family to him.

The media frenzy had died down after their official engagement, but the world's eyes were still on them. Alex decided to use his new platform to advocate for causes that both Alex and Henry believed in strongly, with a particular focus on the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and improving their existing mission of housing displaced LGBTQ+ youth. 

Chapter 3: A Royal Wedding

The weeks turned to months and finally, the day had finally arrived. The day Alex and Henry have been waiting for. Alex stood at the altar, his heart pounding with excitement. As the doors swung open, he caught his first glimpse of his prince, his Henry in his resplendent white suit, radiating happiness. Their eyes met, and a wave of emotion washed over Alex. They had come so far, defying expectations and breaking barriers, and now they were about to embark on a lifelong journey together.

Henry, barely keeping his composure, read his vows to Alex, "In the presence of this assembly, I, Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor, take you, Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz, as my lawfully wedded husband.

From the moment our eyes met in the chaos of diplomacy and protocol, I knew my life was irrevocably changed. You brought color to my world, a world that often felt too formal and rigid. In your laughter, I found joy; in your passion, I found inspiration.

I promise to stand by your side through the triumphs and trials, to be the solace in your storms and the celebration in your victories. I promise to cherish you, to be your partner in all things, to support your dreams as if they were my own.

While Alex is no match for Henry's prose, his vows were just as emotionally charged brining anyone who wasn't already moved to tears to weep, "In front of our loved ones and the universe, I, Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz, take you, Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor, as my lawfully wedded husband.

From our initial sparring to the daring kiss that changed everything, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. You've been my anchor, my partner in rebellion, and the one who completes the melody of my heart.

I promise to be your refuge in the storm, to dance with you in moments of joy, and to stand by you when life tests us. I promise to embrace your quirks as much as your strengths, to be your sounding board and your unwavering supporter.

I vow to be the laughter in your eyes and the fire in your heart. I promise to learn and grow with you, to cherish the simple joys and navigate the complexities of life hand in hand.

In this moment, surrounded by the people who love us, I offer you my love, my loyalty, and my unyielding partnership. I choose you, not just today but every day, to be my husband, my best friend, and my forever love."

They, finally, exchanged rings, sealing their commitment to one another, and the crowd erupted in cheers and applause. The world watched as their fairytale romance became a reality.

Chapter 4: Happily Ever After

Life as husband and husband brought both joy and challenges. They faced scrutiny, but their bond remained unbreakable. They leaned on each other during difficult times and celebrated their victories as a team.

As the years passed, Alex and Henry's love grew deeper, and they were blessed with a family of their own. Their children, raised in an environment of acceptance and love, grew up knowing that they could be whoever they wanted to be.
