7,000,000 years of human history was coming to an end and it was by the gods themselves but what if the gods were challenged to a tournament Where 15 humans fight 15 gods and so let the tournament of Ragnarok begin
(Clarification= the fighters are historical characters)
We see the gods of Valhalla in a type of courtroom and we see the chief god of Olympus speak
Zeus: so my fellow gods shall we keep humanity or shall we remove them and you know the drill put up a sign that has a blue circle to keep them and put up a sign with the red x mark to remove them
Suddenly a large blue skinned god wearing aztec clothing puts up a sign with a red x mark and this was Huitzilopochtli the chief god of the Aztec pantheon
Huitzilopochtli; I say we eradicate them as they have defied us gods for too long and don't do their sacred duty as our servants
Some gods agreed with the leader of the Aztec's while others thought a bit differently and then suddenly another god puts up a sign with a red x mark and this god was Ra the Egyptian god of the sun
Ra: I agree with Huitzilopochtli on one thing about humanity and that is that they have defied us and yes they do have the right to choose which god to believe and not but they do not have to destroy the temples we build for them and their sins have become so unforgivable that the death penalty seems fitting
The other gods suddenly agreed with Ra and so many of the gods put up red X marks and so Zeus then says
Zeus: so it is settled humanity shall be eradicated
Zeus was gonna hit the gable to sentence humanity fate when suddenly the doors got busted down and it stopped the sentencing and saw two Valkyries which were Brunhilde and goll but also saw two gods and these gods were Thoth the Egyptian god of knowledge and Prometheus the titan god that gifted fire

Brunhilde was the first to speak and says
Brunhilde: before you sentence humanity to their immediate demise why don't we test them
Some gods were curious and Huitzilopochtli says
Huitzilopochtli: well then how should we test those things should it be a great meteor , a iceberg?
Prometheus: no we would like to do the record of Ragnarok where 15 mortals fight 15 gods
The gods laugh a bit until Thoth speaks
Thoth: it isn't wise to laugh at a challenge as it can be very disrespectful or is it your too chicken to accept a challenge from a mortal
The gods went silent and suddenly Zeus scratches his desk and says
Zeus: alright then let the tournament between man and god begin
Thoth chuckles to himself and so him , Prometheus and the two Valkyries leave the room and Brunhilde asks
Brunhilde: umm lord Thoth may I ask do you recon it be wise to use the Valkyries as volundrs
Thoth: no it wouldn't as it would cause grief and conflict so me and Prometheus have decided on better hosts for volundrs and we opened 14 cells in Tartarus for our weapons against the other gods
Goll: oh really well may I ask do you have suggestions for our fighters?
Thoth; yes I already thought it all out and got us the fighters that will be necessary
Brunhilde; then alright then it seems we're sorted Prometheus: yep
The group then goes to the arena that the tournament would take place in
