Let's Journey Again?

Wealth, Fame, Power...

(A/N This goes for every chapter :P Please stay with me! I am busy with many other stories on my other profile, which is more focused on Warriors, and has... a lot of stories. If you spot any errors, feel free to point them out in a kind way! I feel like this chapter is too short, but I will try to make them longer! :P Please enjoy! :D)

     Many people gathered up to watch the execution of the King of Pirates... the execution was set in Loguetown, where the previous Pirate King had been executed... the stone brick floor being barely seen by the amount of people crowded in the clearing.... people considering raising their kids onto their shoulders, wondering whether this might be a bit too gruesome for the young ones to watch.

     Atop the scaffolding sat a young man, maybe 30 or so. His raven hair framing a pale face. Though his death was mere minutes away, he sported a smile as pure as a newborn baby's.

     "I heard he..."

     "Did you know..?"

     "You know who he is, right?"

     The executioners on the platform watched him warily, as if he might suddenly spring from the chains and beat them up.

     A pink-haired man stood there, beside the pirate, as if they were friends, though he wore a Navy coat. As he opened his mouth to speak, a voice shouted louder than others, coming from a man with green, poofy hair.  (If you know who I'm talking about, yes, his hair is poofy. >:( Based off of OP Logic.)

     "BUUUUFYYY!! DON'T DIEIELETNRWQC!!!" The man's words went off into jumbled nonsense.

     The Navy man cleared his throat, and his words shook as he spoke. "T-Today, we are executing one of the most powerful pirates for their... horrible deeds. This man defeated many people and gained a high bounty, but we have finally captured him. His name is..." he paused, tears choking him.

     "...Monkey D. Luffy."

     A chorus of crying came from somewhere farther away. If you had asked around, someone would swear they saw a person with a long nose crying before getting pulled into an alley by an angry orange haired woman.

     As the executioners raised their swords, the pirate raised their once-silent voice.

     "Shishishishi!!" he laughed quietly. "I finally accomplished my dreams... I hope my friends will be okay with me leaving..." he looked down at the pedestrians with a smile. "Yo! Guess what! I left my treasure somewhere too!" He quoted Gold Roger's famous words. "You want it? Go and find it! I left everything this world has to offer there!" The Navy man, now sitting, unable to stand anymore, looked at him in tears.

     "A-Are you sure you want this...? Are you sure? I've known you f-for years... you are the one who inspired me to keep going!" His voice raised up, an admiral nudging him slightly. He was humiliating himself in front of thousands of people. "After all you've done to me! After all you've done for us all!" His voice cracked, dropping to a whisper as he spoke once more. "Why are you abandoning us?"

     "Shishishi!! I'm not abandoning you guys! It must be time for me to go! I've lived a happy life and done everything I've wanted to! And besides, I'll finally see Ace again!"

     "But Luffy!! Don't die just to meet your brother again!"

     "Well then, maybe some lightning will strike me again! Or maybe Nami will throw lightning punches at you!" His face twisted in thoughtfulness. "But then I would be angry... my head hurts. I'm not going to think anymore."

     The pink-haired man, still sniffling and full of tears, nodded slightly. He gestured to the men beside him. And as they raised their swords, Monkey D. Luffy, King of the Pirates, put on a large smile and attempted a peace sign.

     Woosh.
