Riley woke up and snuck out from her mother's arms. "I should give her something else to snuggle with." Running to her room she found the teddy bear from Nona, sneaking back in, Riley put the bear in her mother's arms, and went to find breakfast

Janet was startled awake by her alarm. Looking around frantically she realized Riley had given her something to hold so she could stay asleep. "She can be the spawn of Satan, but she is still a good kid."

Janet rummaged through her bedside table drawer to find some pain relief. "I really need to stop drinking so much wine before bed." Getting up, and looking at the clock, "Oh shit! Riley! Get dressed we're gonna be late, and your teacher said I need to start bringing you on time."

Barely getting out of the house at a reasonable time, Janet had not gotten dressed for the day yet. Not that she cared, being more occupied with avoiding getting pulled over. "At least Riley looks okay," she mutters to herself, "Riley! Turn your volume down. I am very hung over, and do not want to hear the Frozen soundtrack this morning."

"Otay, mom can we have dino nuggies for dinner?"

"No, your dad is gonna be home, and your brother. We are having meatloaf," we'll talk about dinner ideas a different time. Get out we're here."

Riley put her IPad and headphones in the front passengers seat, and hoped out of the car. "Bye mom! Have lots of fun at work "

"If I get a call today, I swear to god!" Janet would have added a lot more words, and possibly vulgar things, and got honked at to move. "Oh fuck off!" Turning around seeing it was Karen driving.
