I was fast asleep, my eyes really hurt. I felt like I cried for 5 hours straight... But someone was excitedly shaking me awake. But who? I opened my eyes to see a green haired boy who had a bright smile on his face.

"B-brother!!!" That boy hugged me.

"W-who are you?! And w-where am I?!" I exclaimed worriedly.

"Max don't be so aggressive around him! He's scared.." Said a blonde.

"Oh... Sorry, May! And he might remember me more by you saying my name instead of my month!" Said Max. Wait... Max?

"Max is the name of my brother... He died because of sickness.. That's how I died because of depression..." I frowned. A blondish yellow haired girl hugged me.

"Aww... Poor guy. Wait, could he be your brother?" Asked the blondish yellow haired girl.

"Maybe... If you're really my brother, then how did we meet Jenny and Juliet?" I asked. Two identical twins gasped.

"T-thats our names! I'm Juliet! Are you Ace?" Asked the blondish yellow haired girl.

"Yes! We meet again! You two helped me go through my depression when my brother died..." I hugged them both.

"Wow... This really is a " safe place "!" Said Jenny. I could tell the difference because Jenny has long and wavy hair, and Juliet had short hair that really suited her!

"Mhm! And for your question, we were hanging around our orphanage when they came up to us with another boy— who was their sibling— and became friends with us!" Replied Max.

"Y-you're right...!! I-i missed you so much!" I hugged my big brother and started to cry.

"Aw..." He hugged me back and sniffed. "Don't cry, brother!"

"I-i'm trying!" I sobbed. A short, Pink haired girl hugged me.

"Aww! I went through the same!" She said. "My name is April by the way!"

"Like the month?" I asked.

"Mhm! And that's why you're here!" April smiled.

"What- do you mean? Because I'm an August born I'm here?" I asked.

"Mhm! I'll explain. So 12 people from Earth are chosen to be- months! They're all of course born on different months but anyways, they all have gone through trauma but this is like a " safe place " for them! You get to protect the Earth and get 2 powers! Cause Tanzite told me you're an ordinary month! The month in the middle of their season IS the leader of their season!" Replied April. "So I'm a leader!!"

"HA! TAKE THAT, LOSOR! SEE? ME IS THE BETTER TWIN AFTERALL!" Exclaimed Juliet.

"I guess you're right.." June frowned.

"Wait wha-"

"IN YOUR DREAMS!" laughed Jenny.

"WAAAAA—"

"Woah! So I'm August!" I smiled in amazement.

"Hey you interrupted meh, Augustus!"

"Hello hello~ I'm here with... August's caretaker, say hi to Peridot!" Came a tall man with a grumpy looking boy who had brown hair and kinda looked like me.

"Hey" he uttered.

"Looks like we have our grumpy grumpy!" Juliet giggled.

"Ooh!" Said Jenny.

"Oh! We forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Janice. Let's call eachother by our months! So call me January. This is Finn, call him February. Your brother is chosen for March. April is chosen for- April!" January chuckled.

"Hehe I love myself" April smirked.

"Anyways, same thing with May. Jenny is chosen for June. And lastly, Juliet is chosen for July!" Said January.

"Hehe! I've got a riddle for you, January. It's true by the way! And it's for you since you're soooo smart!" July laughed.

"Wait, how'd you know I was sma-"

"Why am I born on July but my twin sister is born on June?" Asked July.

"Ooh good one, sis!" June high-fived July.

"Hmm... Were you an unexpected baby?" Asked January.

"O-oh... I was.." July frowned.

"Hmm, oh!" January hugged July. "Sorry- anyways, when was your sister born?"

"That's fine.. Correction: Twin! And that question would make everything easier!" Replied July. "Fine, it's a hard riddle so I guess I'll tell you she's born on June 30th!"

"Ohh... Let me think.." January thought deeply.

"Hmm... I think I know!" Said March.

"Tell me in my ear" Replied July. March whispered something to July. "You're right!"

"Hmm, is it because you weren't fully formed yet?" Asked January.

"Nope!" July popped the "P" "but good answer!"

"Ugh, I give up!" January sighed.

"Want me to tell you??" July smirked

"Yes... Wait! No! Is it because you were born in midnight, and June wasn't?" Asked January.

"Yes! I was born on 12:02AM on July 1st! June was born before me so she's older" July facepalmed at the end.

"Hehe"

"Hey... Wait, who's that...? And why does he look alike to us?" Asked June, pointing to an unconscious blondish yellow haired guy wearing glasses.

"Hmm... I don't know.. Let's go see!" July ran up to the boy along with all of us.
