"Hey... Wake up! You look terrified and furious..." Said a muffled voice. It sounded British... I think it was a man.
"H-huh... Who..? Are you guys....?" I groaned, opening my eyes to see four people. A Navy haired girl, a Pink haired boy, a green haired guy, and a Pink haired girl.
"D-don't worry, you're safe now, I promise!" Said the little girl with Pink hair.
"Ugh... I hate that word. " I promise " they always lie." I groaned.
"But we promise we're not lyi- oh... We're not lying though. I swear! We all went through trauma and pain in our lives. This is a " safe place " for you" said the Navy haired girl.
"Oh... H-how do I know if I should trust you guys...?" I asked.
"We'll introduce ourselves. I'm Janice, aka January, this is Finn, aka February, this is Max, aka March, and this is April, aka— April!" January laughed at the last part.
"Wait... What..? Hold up hold up. I think I know what's going on." I thought out loud. "So I'm chosen for May..."
"Yes! What's your name?" Asked February.
"I'm...- May! My real name is May—" I smiled awkwardly.
"Oh! So you're like April! I wonder... Is June also gonna be named June? Same with July?" April wondered.
"Maybe... We're gonna know very soon!" Said a voice from behind. We all screamed and huddled. "Don't worry, you guys, it's me! Tanzite! I'm here with May's caretaker! Emerald, say hi!"
There was a tall guy with black hair and indigo clothes and a yellow haired guy with green clothes!
"H-hi..." Said Emerald shyly.
"Hi! Don't be shy" I smiled at him. Emerald smiled back. "Hey, just a question, why do we have caretakers?"
"Well to help you get through your trauma and for them to protect you!" Replied Tanzite. "Pretty good question to be honest!"
"Hey... Why do you all look unnatural? What I mean is, Pink hair? Green hair? But I look like... Me?" I asked.
"Guess you're lucky enough, May!" April laughed.
"Oh!" I laughed. "Wait... Who are those?"
I pointed to two girls who looked like identical twins. One was leaning on the other.
"Looks like June and July have arrived!" Said Tanzite with a smile.
"They're twins?!" Asked April. Tanzite nodded. "I'll be right back with their caretakers. By the way. June has more than 1 caretaker by the way."
"How lucky!" Said February. "Let's welcome them though!"
