"Tomioka-san! There you are, Oyakata-sama had assigned us to a mission together!" Rengoku, a fiery and cheerful man, said as he approached a hashira who was training alone. "Do you remember the meeting a few weeks back? He said that he chose to have us, slayers, do missions in groups!"
Tomioka, the hashira who was training with his darkside, looked at Rengoku. He nodded and resumed training with his darkside.
"Uh, who are you training with? Have you gone mental, Tomioka-san?" Rengoku asked. He was seeing his comrade train alone, Tomioka was acting like he was training with someone.
"...no." Tomioka answered after a few seconds of silence. "I'm training... by myself." He continued as he trained.
"But you're acting like you're having a mock battle." Rengoku pointed out the fact. "Are you sure that you haven't become mental?"
Tomioka stopped training and looked at Rengoku, sighing. Tomioka had simply gotten some flashbacks from his backstory. He shook his head in disagreement and resumed training.
"...Am I able to join you?" Rengoku asked in curiosity. He was curious as Tomioka's movements were fast but he wanted to see if he could catch up with his movements against Tomioka's.
"No. You're disturbing... our training." Tomioka answered, leaving Rengoku confused.
"What do you mean by 'our'? Are you training with someone that I can't and won't see?" Rengoku said as he tilted his head to the side by 10° degrees to the east where the sun was rising.
"...Never ignore the other voice in your head... It doesn't... like getting ignored." Tomioka replied, only confusing the other hashira. It was clear that the two of them had different beliefs.
"Other voice?" Rengoku asked again. He was still confused by his peer's words. "Please explain."
"Ignore that. I heard you that we have a joint mission again. I will get ready." Tomioka dismissed the topic and moved on to another. It seemed that Tomioka didn't like taking about it.
In all honesty, it wasn't Tomioka who spoke. It was [redacted] who was in controlled of Tomioka, it was why Tomioka moved on the topic with the feeling of nervousness. Tomioka and his elder sister lived in a small village, it was why he didn't like sharing about his past. It was reasonable that they didn't know what he was talking about.
"Okay! Now, let's go to the train station that Oyakata-sama assigned for our mission." Rengoku suggested this to his comrade, in order, not get there by nightfall as it was quite far.
Tomioka nodded to the suggestion and sheathed his sword. "Lead the way." He replied as he started to follow Rengoku and his crow. He felt a little safe that Kanzaburou wasn't the one who was guiding him as he was often nervous whenever his crow leaded the way.

Giyuu Tomioka's Point of View – Near the train station"This is boring!" [Redacted] said to my mind. He was whining about the fact that it was a long walk.
"Don't whine, your whining voice is irritating. Damn irritating." I replied in my mind. "Don't you dare appear!" I reprimanded him as I heard him think about appearing in front of me.
