To Hoenn Once Again

Chapter 18

" sere , wake up ." Ash said to Serena who was sleeping like a log .

" man , i even came after training and she's still sleeping . maybe i should take a shower until she wakes up ." Ash said to himself and went in the bathroom to take a shower .

After 20 minutes , Ash stepped out of bathroom and saw that she is still sleeping .

" seriously , is she a snorlax ?" Ash asked himself and went to her .

he shook her a few times but she did not woke up . he sighed and kissed her trying to wake her up and she finally opened her eyes and then kissed him back .

" were you faking that you were sleeping ?" Ash asked after breaking the kiss .

" uh no , i just woke up ." Serena said after stretching her arms .

" oh ok . i thought you just wanted a kiss and thats why you were acting like you were sleeping ." Ash said scratching back of his head .

" maybe or maybe not . you will never find out ." Serena said while giggling and went in the bathroom .

" maybe i  still don't understand girls even if she is my own ." Ash said to himself and sat on the bed .

After 20 minutes of waiting , she finally came out of the bathroom and sat on the bed besides Ash .

" why were you waking me up so early though , you always sleep besides me after training ." Serena inquired .

" May and the others are going today and i thought of saying them goodbye but you were sleeping like a log ." Ash said and she sighed .

" its not my fault that you are so comfy that i wanted to sleep more ." Serena said and he blushed .

" fine , lets go now ." Ash said and she nodded .

They collected their pokemons and then went to the lobby of pokemon center . they thought of having breakfast first so after eating breakfast , they called May to ask her where she was .

" hi May , where are you guys ?" Serena asked .

" we are coming to pokemon center ." May told her .

" oh , we were thinking of coming to you but you are already coming to us ." Serena said .

" thats good , we thought you must be sleeping so we decided to come ." May said .

" well , it is not complete lie . i was actually sleeping ." Serena said on the phone .

" anyways  , we almost reached there ." May said and Serena hummed and cut the call .

they waited for several minutes in the lobby until the group of 4 entered the Pokemon Center . The 4 took seat with Ash and Serena who were sitting with pikachu and lucario .

" so , i think its a goodbye again Ash ." Dawn said and Ash nodded .

" we are in the same region though . we can meet each other at many intervals ." Ash said and they nodded .

" so where are you going next ?" Paul asked .

" let me check in phone ." Serena said and took out her phone but was stopped when she heard Ash .

" Her next contest is in Staleport city and we are heading to Dewford island and then to Staleport City ." Ash told and Serena was shocked .

" how do you know my next contest place ?" Serena asked .

" umm , i searched it up when you were taking a shower ." Ash said .

" wow Serena , Ash never keeps track about these things . i must say you did a number on him ." May said and Dawn giggled .
