" For the 1st round , we have Coordinator Serena with her partner Ash and Coordinator Hailey with her partner Bryan ." The announcement was made .

Both Ash and Serena went to the stage and their opponents stood on the opposite side of the stage .

" This will be a contest battle for 5 minutes . the team with the most points at the last will be declared the winner ." The host said .

" go furret ." Hailey tossed her pokeball .

" go walrein . " Bryan tossed his pokeball .

" Milotic , i choose you ." Serena said and tossed her pokeball .

" Lucario , i choose you ." Ash said and tossed the pokeball of lucario .

' Are you sure master you are gonna send me ?' Lucario asked through aura .

' yeah , i think it will be great .' Ash said through aura and Lucario nodded .

" The timer starts now . Battle Begin !!"The host said .

" walrein , water pulse ." Bryan said .

" Furret , charge beam at milotic ." Hailey said .

" aqua tail on water pulse ." Serena quickly said .

" bone rush to divert the electricity ." Ash said and lucario nodded .

The water pulse was about to hit them but Milotic spun around and broke the water pulse into small droplets which reduced some points of their team . Furret fired a large beam of electricity from its mouth at milotic but lucario spun his bone which made the beam scatter in different directions which created a good performance .

" that was a good counter by Team Serena . Team Hailey's points are reduced drastically . " The host said .

" water gun at milotic ." Bryan said .

" flamethrower at lucario ." Hailey said switching sides this time .

" aqua ring ." Serena said .

"   again spin your bone ." Ash said .

Walrein fired a water attack at milotic but she formed 3 water rings around her body which absorbed the water and then she broke the rings into beautiful sparkles . lucario also diverted the flamethrower with his bone just like he did with charge beam . their points were already reduced to less than half .

" ugh , furret flamethrower ." Hailey said .

" combine it with water gun ." Bryan said .

" hydro pump ." Serena said .

Both the moves combined and headed straight for lucario and milotic but milotic quickly fired a hydro pump which collided with the combination attack and caused the attacks to cancel causing sparkles to generate and again the points of Hailey's team were reduced .

" time is over . As Team Hailey's points are almost to zero while points of Team Serena did not even budge . So , the winner of this round is Team Serena ." The host said and Team Hailey sighed in defeat and recalled their pokemons .

" yay , we did it ." Serena said and hugged Ash who was embarrassed because many people were watching them .

" lets go Sere ." Ash said and Serena recalled Milotic and then went with Ash who was patting lucario .

They again sat in the waiting area for their next battle .

" that was a great battle lucario ." Ash said .

" battle ? " Lucario asked with sarcasm in his voice .

" those 2 were kids . i could have taken them alone ." Lucario said and Ash giggled .
