Another dream. I was 11.

"Airplanes are not scary sweetie." My mom said. I hated going up in a piece of metal and trusting 2 people to steer us.

"How are you going to join the army if you're scared?" My dad grumbled.

"Don't start." My mom said, giving him 'the look'.

"Fine." he looked away.

"How about when we get on the plane," my mom turned her attention toward me. "You can sleep? The time will fly by." She laughed. "Pun not intended." I smiled weakly.

"How can I?" I asked. "I'll know I'm in the air. That I am on an airplane. And what if it goes down? What if I don't wake up and I don't say goodbye? Or if I go to sleep and wake up to find that I was the only survivor? Or if-"

"Ok, sweetie, let's not talk too loud." Others were looking at me and a few kids looked scared. "Here." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a gummy. "Eat this."

"What is it?"

"I use this to fall asleep. I don't like planes either. Eat it now so you'll be asleep sooner." I didn't hesitate. I ate that thing. it tasted fine. Once we boarded and found our seats, I buckled myself in and I felt sleepy.

"Good night Mom."

"Good night." I was asleep before we took off.

I felt someone shaking my body. "Y/n."

"Hm."

"We're landing."

"Hm?" Where the fuck was I?

"Come on. Wake up." Ghost. I finally recognized his voice. I groaned as I opened my eyes. It was bright.

"We landed?" It felt like we were still in the air. Until the whole plane jumped, nearly knocking me out of my seat if I were buckled in.

"Yep."

"Asshole." I breathed. I unbuckled myself and stood up, stretching my body until my vision went white, making me sit back down before I fell. Once, I could see, I went to the lavatory to fix my mask and use the restroom. I washed my hands when I was done and left to grab my things and get off the place. I took the dress out of the closet and draped it over my arm, holding the box in the same hand and carrying my bag on the opposite shoulder.

"You got it, lass?" Soap asked.

"I'm good. Thanks, Soap." He nodded and walked down the steps. We were walked to another car. I got in and sat next to... someone. He had a half mask on, like me: dark hair, blonde eyelashes, and caramel-colored eyes.

"What?"

"Ghost?!" Soap started laughing at my comment.

"He looks better without the mask, huh?"

"What the fuck..."

"Get over it." Ghost sighed, rolling his eyes. I shut up and looked straight as we were driven to a hotel. We were given our assigned rooms except Ghost.

"Wait, we're missing one," I say, speaking up for him.

"No." Price says

"No?"

"No. You and Ghost will be sharing a room."

"Excuse me?"

"You guys need to play the role. Now, I don't give a damn about what you two do inside the room. All that I do know is that you two are never to be seen without each other and you may not kill each other. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir," I responded.

"Good." We walked to our room and when I opened the door, I was shot. It hurt so bad.

The scent of flowers mixed with candles, and rose petals scattered all over the floor leading to the bed with a heart made of rose petals on the sheets.

"What the fuck...?"

"Bloody hell." Ghost walked out and went straight to Price while I stood there.  I set my bag in the closet and hung up the dress slung over my arm. The shoes went on the little shelving. Ghost came in angry.

"What did he say?"

"He said that he put us down as a newly wedded couple."

"Oh." That bastard. "Well, set your stuff down."

"Shouldn't you be more bothered?"

"No. It's an assignment." I said the words with no tone in my voice.

"Alright then." He put his stuff next to mind and I went through the other side of the closet, looking for more bedding for tonight. It was 3 pm. "What's that for?"

"Sleeping."

"No fucking shit. Why?"

"You wanna sleep in the same bed?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

"No."

"Exactly. Shut up." I took them out and laid them at the foot of the bed on the floor. I took a pillow from one side of the bed and put it down. "I sleep on the floor."

"Fuck no."

"Yes. I enjoy the floor." I was trained to sleep anywhere if needed. The floor was the comfiest besides a bed.

"Well too fucking bad." He walked over to me and crouched down to where I sat on the floor. his eyes were glaring into mine. "I. Sleep on the fucking. Floor. Get that through your thick skull."

"No. I don't want to switch." I may want the bed but I refuse to back down. Plus, it helps my back.

"Fucking hell." He stood up and groaned into his mask with annoyance. "Fine. Have the bloody floor." He walked over and threw himself on the bed. A knock was heard on the door and I got up to look through the peep hold. Soap was there in a suit, glasses, and a wired earpiece in his ear.  let him in.

"Hello." I let him in and as I shut the door, a large smile is plastered to his face.

"This steid is pumpin' gallus." He said.

"English McTavish." Ghost said.

"Yes, this place is cool, Soap." He smiled and walked in further, seeing the rose petals and looking at me. "Price." He nods slowly before looking at Ghost on the bed.

"Get your lazy bum up." He hit his foot.

"Fuck off you bastard."Ghost replied.

"Well." Soap turned to me. "Price just wanted to see how you were doing and he sent me. So if you'll excuse me, I need to go back and bother Gaz." He walked out of the room and Ghost and I were alone. Again. I sat down on the floor and took out a book that I'd been reading. Eventually, I hear Ghost start snoring. I placed the bookmark back in the book.

Perfect timing.
