Weeks had passed and pretending became harder and harder for Sero. Both shinsou and Monoma had been hanging out with them whenever they held a group meeting and it pained Sero so much seeing how happy they made Denki, it almost made him jealous at the fact that he couldn't make Denki as happy as those two could.

He was happy for Denki, he was glad to know that Monoma had changed for the better and that him and shinsou were treating Denki the way he deserved. But he felt despair, pity, and hatred towards himself. He despised himself for being a coward and not telling Denki his true feelings.

And things only got worst when the alcohol wasn't helping him like it used to. Instead of feeling hyperactive or full of energy he felt dread, he felt sorrow. So whenever he drank he would have breakdowns where he would end up waking up to find out he had passed out crying his heart out.

So he stuck with smoking, even though it made him feel numb he at least didn't went into breakdowns by his feelings getting out of hand.

Sero looked out the window as he smoked, taking deep hits letting the weed slowly take over his body and numb his feelings. His head rested on the glass as his thoughts wondered.

'What do they have that I don't?'

'Why couldn't I be his first choice?'

'Why can't I be happy?'

'Why did I let it take this long, it's my fault he got taken away from me'

A knock interrupted his thoughts making him sigh and go over frowning softly as Denki just walked "hey...what's wrong?" He asked as Denki sat on the couch.

"They came." Denki said, Sero frowning more knowing what he meant by that "the hell are they here for?" He said sitting down next to him.

"They saw the damn news of me and the other two and came to 'lecture' me." Denki replied rubbing his eyes and sighing "Hitoshi and Neito went over and a big argument happened...let's just say I got disowned, not that I ever actually had a family but now is official that they want nothing to do with me.."

"We'll...screw them, you know you have a family right? You got Kirishima, Mina, Bakugo, Jirou, and you got me, we'll always be here for you Denks" Sero said to which Denki looked at him with a small smile "thanks Hanta.."

Sero nodded a bit and couldn't help but to smile hearing Denki use his first name "anything for you" he said before Denki chuckled "I smell weed, got more?"

Sero chuckled and nodded "I'll go get it"

The next few hours the two were high and drunk, Denki had put on some music and dragged Sero to dance with him. The two laughed and danced together as they shared the joint.

"You're always fun to hang out with Sero" Denki said sitting down on the couch, Sero soon following "nah I just get the necessities to make the party fun" he said smiling.

Denki chuckled and laid his head on Sero's lap looking up at him with a bright smile "you're the best" he said before he tried to reach for a kiss.

Sero's eyes widen a bit, not being drunk enough to let the alcohol and weed control him. "Don't you're taken" he said stopping Denki as he fought the urges to kiss back, as much as he wanted to he wasn't going to let Denki's relationship get ruined.

"Come onnnn just one" Denki said wrapping his arms around Sero's neck. "Denki you're drunk no. I'm calling your boyfriends" Sero said taking his phone out and calling Shinsou.

"I'm guessing it's about Denki?" Shinsou spoke as soon as he picked up the phone, slight hint of anger on his tone and muffled voices could be heard as well.

"Yeah he came over explaining what happened and he got drunk, can you come get him before he does something stupid?" Sero explained, hearing a sigh from the other line.

"TosHiiii!" Denki said snatching the phone from Sero with a small giggle but the call was ended making Denki groan "they're boringgg" he said laying his head back on Sero's lap. Sero sighed and rubbed his eyes taking deep breaths as the dreadful feeling he usually felt started to come back.

Soon both Monoma and shinsou were on Sero's house "come on Denki get up" Monoma spoke forcing Denki to stand up "noooo I wanna stay with Hantaaa!" Denki protested trying to sit back down.

"We don't have the time for this. Those assholes are still raging and now you're drunk." Shinsou spoke picking Denki up and taking him to the car.

"Thanks for calling us, but please stop letting Denki get drunk" Monoma spoke looking slightly disgusted by the smell of weed and alcohol "bye, thanks for calling again"

Sero watched them leave and sighed closing the door and rubbing his eyes "damn it.." he mumbled as the intrusive thoughts started forming again.

'Coward'

'Worthless'

'Not good enough'

'No one wants you'

'You're a bother'

'Die'

And before he knew it Sero was crying, the thoughts just kept rushing through his head without a sign of stopping.

He felt overwhelmed as he tried his best to shut the voices off, wanting to go numb again and simply feel nothing. And he did he became numb but the thoughts didn't stop, instead it only got Sero to finally act on the many visual thoughts he would get.

He headed to his room and looked around wiping his tears away finding what he was looking for.

Once he sat in bed he fiddled with the small metal blade, numbly looking at it as the intrusive thoughts continued. He tried his hardest to stop himself from doing it but he started to accept what his thoughts were saying.

So he drew a horizontal line across his wrist, crimson blood dripped down his wrist falling on the white tiles. But he didn't stop, each negative phrase his head screamed at him a new cut was made on his arm.

The irrigating feeling slowly calmed Sero's senses, his body relaxed as the thoughts slowly stopped, and his mind only becoming focused on the feeling in his arms.

And after a few minutes he became aware of what he did, he saw the blood that was starting to dry up on his arms, he saw the drops of blood on the floor, and he saw the now bloody blade that was on the desk.

Sero got up and silently went to wash his arms, bandaging them before he went to clean the blood on the floor. He felt numb at the fact that he was slowly losing himself to the depressing thoughts, that he was starting to act on them and that he was slowly breaking more and more than he already was.
