The Summer of Changes

I just finished packing. I made sure to finish everything today so I wouldn't have to rush it tomorrow. I jumped on my bed so I was face down. I didn't realize how tired I was and I started to drift off to sleep.

As always, I never get what I want.

Luca came, busting my door wide open, I sat up looking annoyed.

"Change of plans, we're leaving tonight." He said quickly.

"What? Why?" I whined laying back down on the bed.

"It's just better since everyone is already ready, we'll just go today."

"Luca, I'm really tired." I sat up rubbing my eyes.

"You can sleep in the van. Let's go."

"Carry me." I put my arms up smiling. I honestly didn't expect Luca to carry me but it was worth a shot.

He sighed and came near me. Luca leaned down and picked me up. He carried me bridal style. I quickly wrapped my arms around him. But I was very shocked. I didn't think he was going to do it at all.

Once Luca and I made it outside, he put me in the backseat of the van and put my seat belt on.

"I can put on my own seat belt Luca." I said to him. He ignored me which didn't surprise me at all.

"Where are your things?" He asked me.

"They're in a purple bag on my bed." I answered quietly since I was so sleepy.

"Okay I'll be back." He closed the van and I looked around.

It was empty except for me. I guess we going to go pick up the boys. I'm still wondering where we're going.

Luca came back into the car and threw my bag at me. The bag was quite heavy so it hurt.

"Ow Luca." I groaned quietly. He continued to start the car and drive.

"Where are we going ? You're not going to kill me, are you? I know i'm annoying but not that annoying." I said sitting up. I found a blanket on the floor so I picked it up and put it around me. It was starting to get cold.

He chuckled. "I would never hurt you Ellie. And we are going to go pick up the boys."

Just as I guessed. "Wake me up when we get there." I said yawning and i eventually went back to sleep.

"ELLIE!" A loud voice woke me. I opened my eyes to see all of the boys. And I think River was the one who yelled my name.

"Hey everyone." I gave a small wave. I was still tired.

"You looked so adorable sleeping." River said taking some of my blanket and laying his head on my shoulder.

"So adorable that you had to wake me up?"I said looking around. All of the boys were here. Luca was still driving, Daniel was in the passenger seat , River was next to me, and Kael was next to River.

"What time is it?" I asked stretching.

"It's 2:34." Luca said to me.

"AM ?" My eyes widened.

"No, PM. That's why it's so dark outside." Luca said sarcastically.

I ignored his sarcasm."Why aren't we there yet?" I groaned leaning back into my seat.

"We'll be there in about 10 minutes."

I cuddled up to River since I was shivering. He was so warm.
