"A Clash of Worlds"

Location: High School Hallway

Characters:

• Tyler: Carrying his sketchbook, walking through the hall.

• Brandon: With a group of friends, laughing and talking loudly.

• Other Students: Moving between classes, typical high school bustle.

Time of Day: Late morning, between classes.

[The scene opens with the busy, noisy atmosphere of a high school hallway. Students are rushing to their next classes. The camera focuses on Tyler as he walks through the crowd, clutching his sketchbook close to his chest.]

[Tyler navigates through the crowd, his expression one of quiet resignation. He's clearly used to this environment but doesn't seem entirely comfortable.]

[Suddenly, laughter and loud voices are heard. The camera pans to Brandon and his group of friends coming from the opposite direction. They are in the middle of a boisterous conversation, taking up much of the hallway space.]

[As the two groups approach each other, the hallway seems to shrink. Students around them sense an impending confrontation and start to give them space.]

[Brandon notices Tyler and nudges one of his friends, whispering something that makes the group laugh. He then steps deliberately into Tyler's path.]

Brandon: (Loudly, drawing attention) "Watch where you're going, Pinky!"

[Tyler stops, looking up at Brandon. He takes a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure.]

Tyler: "I just want to get to class, Brandon."

[Brandon’s friends snicker. Tyler tries to step around, but Brandon blocks him again.]

Brandon: "What's the rush? Afraid you'll miss your chance to sketch more fairies and unicorns?"

[Some students laugh, but others look uncomfortable. Tyler's grip on his sketchbook tightens, but he remains calm.]

Tyler: "Better than spreading hate and ignorance."

[Brandon's face hardens at the retort, and for a moment, it looks like he might escalate the situation. But the bell rings, breaking the tension.]

Brandon: (Mockingly) "Saved by the bell. This time."

[Brandon and his friends move on, still laughing. Tyler exhales slowly, his eyes following them for a moment before he turns and continues down the hallway, the camera following him until he disappears into a classroom.]
