April, 1768-Williamsburg, Colony of Virginia
Jeremy's letter arrives at his doorstep a month later. Wes only brought it to him once he and Ken had looked it over.

"He sounds desperate." Ken murmurs. Wes nods in agreement.

"I'm sure the others have already brought it up in their own letters since he does state this letter is like Adams'." Jamie answers as he writes his own letter to Jeremy.

"So, you're not going to bring it up in our letter?" Wes asks, crossing his arms over his chest.

"No. I'm sure the others have brought it up already. No need to bring it up again." Jamie responds. Wes just nods.

May, 1768-Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay
"Jeremy, there's a warship in the harbor!" Connie shouts. Jeremy snaps off of his bed and chucks himself downstairs. Connie and Arthur are standing by the front door, both looking horrified.

They were both panting, probably from running all the way back.

"There's a what in the harbor!?" Pat exclaims, running downstairs as well.

"A warship in the Boston harbor." Connie repeats, panting. Pat grabs her jacket and runs outside, pushing past Connie and Arthur while Jeremy helps both of them to the living room.

As Jeremy is warming up some coffee, Pat comes back.

"Is there actually a warship in my harbor?" Jeremy inquires as Pat enters.

Pat looks up at him with fear, "Yes."

June, 1768-Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay
"Did they seriously seize your ship?" Jeremy inquires as Hancock paces around the room.

"Yes. Yes, they actually did." Hancock responds. Jeremy snorts.

Ironic that the British seized his ship which was named Liberty. Jeremy groans and shakes his head.

"Is there any way for you to get your ship back?" Jeremy questions. Hancock shrugs.

"Can't do much. I am being prosecuted at the moment, Jones." Hancock answers.

Jeremy sighs as he runs a hand down his face.

July, 1768-Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay
Bile threatens to rise up his throat as he reads the paper over and over again. His vision swims.

This can't be true.

No way his governor decided to dissolve the general court because they didn't revoke Adams' letter.

"Maybe you should go to bed. Come on." Connie says, swiping the paper away from him.

Jeremy allows himself to be dragged upstairs and to his room. His head pounds and his vision spins.
