I sat next to Hermione and wouldn't meet Harry's gaze, I was reading the Potions book again. Ron sat next to Harry and was looking at a very put out Lavender. Snow fell from the ceiling, but only on us.

"Stop it Ron, your making it snow." Hermione said.

"So what happened with Lavender and I in the hospital?" Ron asked again.

"Well, you kind of woke up and you talked, it wasn't a very long conversation." Hermione made up on the spot.

"Well, what happened to Lavender, she seems a bit put out." Ron commented.

We all stopped what we were doing and turned to look at her. She froze and looked at us before stuffing her face with her porridge. We all turned back around. "Yeah, she does doesn't she. You sure you don't remember anything from that night? Or in the hospital? Anything at all?"

Ron thought for a moment. "Nope. I was completely out of it though, so you can't blame me."

A group of girls walked past and Hermione looked up. "Harry, Lily, that's Katie. She's back."

We looked up and then looked at each other before walking over, together. "Hey Katie." I gave her a wave.

She turned and smiled. "Hey."

"How are you?" Harry asked.

"I'm fine." She paused before looking between us. "I know what your going to ask, but I don't know who cursed me. I've been trying to remember, but I just-"

She looked past us and her face froze in horror. I turned to see Malfoy standing there and then he suddenly turned and hurried out if the Great Hall. Harry took off after him. I nodded a goodbye to Katie then I went after Harry. I could see them running into the boys bathroom. I ran in there to find them shooting spells at each other. I ran round and stood in front of a sweating, frantic Malfoy.

Someone like Harry, and you secret was easily revealed. Harry stood there with a shock expression as I pointed my wand at him. "Move Lily!"

"No."

"Move Lily! He cursed Katie!"

"I know."

Harry stood there and lowered his wand. "Move Lily." He said again.

"No." I said more firmly than the last time.

He shook his head then turned and walked away. Draco and I just stood there for a couple of minutes watching him leave and even after he had left. I turned and hugged Malfoy, I'm so glad that I had gotten here just in time. The opened again, but then I closed straight away. I didn't care who it was, but I just stood there and hugged Draco.

I slowly and shakily went back the Common Room late that night, hoping to avoid Harry. When I got there, Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron and Dean were all sitting around waiting for me as I stepped in through the door. I opened and closed my mouth stupidly, before hiding over to the girl dorm stairs.

"Lily?" Ginny said. I stopped and turned, only able to look at her. She gave me a smile. "I think it's time that we got rid of that book."

I knitted my eyebrows together. What book? Then glanced down at the book that was sitting on the cabinet behind the lounge. I took a deep breath and walked over. I grabbed the book and someone grabbed my hand at the same time. I looked up to see Dean smiling down at me. I turned towards the door and he followed me out. He lead me to the Room of Requirement and we entered. It was just how Draco and I had left it. Things messed about and small aisles to walk in.

I heard the sound of flapping wings and I looked over at the Vanishing Cabinet. I walked over and opened the door. The bird flew out of it. The one that had been dead. It was alive. Yes! That means that we fixed it! Voldemort would be so pleased. Dean slowly took the book out of my hands.
