The Kiss

"Quibbler? Quibbler?" Luna called down the aisle of the train. Me and Dean stood out in the aisle, along with some other people who were messing about. Luna came up to us and blushed. Dean laughed and went to sit with Seamus. She turned to me. "I am so sorry. Quibbler?"

"Sure, vhat's your expert?"

"Invisible creatures, they crawl inside your ears and make your brain go fuzzy." I had to hold myself together, before laughing when she was gone. Anyway, I returned to the compartment Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting in.

"What was Draco doing with that weird looking cabinet? And who were all those people? Don't you see it was a ceremony, an annotation."

"Stop it Harry." Hermione said.

I paused after entering the doorway. "Zop vhat?" I glanced at him and raised an eyebrow.

Hermione spoke. "Harry thinks that Draco Malfoy is a death eater."

I froze, my insides screamed and burned, I suddenly felt uncomfortable. I shifted my weight on to the balls of my feet and rocked back and forth. "Don't be ridiculous Harry."

He glanced at me. "Then what was he doing in Borgin and Bourkes, browsing for furniture?"

"So, it's a creepy shop, he's a creepy bloke." Ron said.

"Look his father is a death eater, it makes sense. Plus Hermione saw his mark with her own eyes." Harry continued.

"I told you, I don't know what I saw." She sighed, exasperated.

All the while my stomach was tying itself into a big knot and I hadn't moved from the doorway. I death glares the floor ad tried not to move, for I feared I might blurt it out. I knew, I knew what Draco was, but he had trusted me not to tell anyone, so I wouldn't.

Harry looked up at me. "Are you alright Lily?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said that say too quickly. "I need some air."

I turned quickly and ran out of the compartment. "Wait!" I turned and Harry came out of the compartment, holding his invisibility cloak. "I'll come with you."

Great, just great. We walked along the train, had no idea where I was going,must. Just kept on walking. I then realised that we had walked all the way to the Slytherin reserved compartments. Harry halted at the door and peered in, Malfoy sat at one of the tables, with Blaise and Pansy. Harry held something in his hand. Darkness Powder, the powder he had bought at the Weasley Joke Shop.

He through it, and it spun through the air, making the whole carriage go black and powdery. Harry through the cloak over us and ran into the compartment. He helped my up onto the exam and then climbed up after me. The cabin started to clear and people settled down again.

Draco stood up and wasn't in a good mood. Probably because he got some powder in his hair. Harry said over the. Mind link. I sighed mentally, but didn't show any signs.

"What was that?" He sneered.

"Probably just a first year messing around." Pansy remarked. "Come on, sit down. We'll be arriving at Hogwarts soon."

Her voice was flirtatious. I clenched my fists and Harry gave me a look, I released them and returned back to the conversation at hand. "Hogwarts what a pathetic excuse for a school. I think I'd rather piss myself off the Astronomy Tower, before I continue for another two years."

"What do you mean?" Pansy asked, voice full of fake concern.

"Let's just say, I won't bother myself with charms class next year." Malfoy sneered. Blaise chuckled. Malfoy glared at him. "You seem amused Blaise. They'll be the ones laughing in the end."
