Convenience Store -kim Namjoon

Authors pov:

It was another exhausting day for y/n

Y/n worked at a clothe designing company
She had the longest shift among her all her workmates because her boss wasn't very nice towards her, the only reason why she was still working there was because when it was about handing out paychecks on payday he was always generous

Y/n was now heading to her apartment before she stopped at the convenience store she regularly goes to before heading home, she entered the convenience store and greeted the cashier who was busy doing something on his phone. "hey Namjoon" she said as she walked towards the beverage aisle
"hey y/n, another bad day?" he said as he looked at y/n who was grabbing herself a drink before she walked towards the check out "yeah.. I'm very tired right now" she said as she placed her the drink for Namjoon to check out for her "you need to take care of yourself, don't be so harsh on yourself, take a break" namjoon said as he checked out for her the total being 3.99$
"I would but my boss won't let me.. He's a... Whatever I don't care" y/n said as she pulled out her wallet to pay "an asshole, I know" said Namjoon which kinda surprised y/n but she nodded after, she grabbed her drink and walked out as she said "see you tomorrow Namjoon" Namjoon smiled and said "bye!"

Another day has came now it was exactly 9 pm
Y/n enters the convenience store "hey Namjoon" she said as she walked to get herself her usual drink from the beverage aisle that she gets everytime "hey y/n, how was your day today" Namjoon greeted her back, she walked towards the counter with her drink "eh it was fine I guess" she placed her drink on the counter for Namjoon to check out for her "I'm a bit relieved to see you doing better than yesterday y/n" Namjoon said as he smiled to y/n, which she returned back "yeah.. I guess I'm not that tired today" she said as she pulled out her wallet to pay before she grabbed her drink "see you tomorrow Namjoon!" she said as she walked out

Namjoons pov:

I looked at y/n she seemed to be feeling a bit better than yesterday, I smiled
I liked her for a long time now, she came here everyday at 9 pm exactly, it's been happening for 7 months now, she comes here everyday, I hated to admit to myself that I liked her but whenever I look at her my heart starts beating faster.. I know she probably just sees me as a friend

End of Namjoons pov

Authors pov:

Y/n entered the convenience store as she walked towards the ramen aisle "sup Namjoon" she said as she grabbed instant cup ramen along with her drink "hey y/n, this is the first time in a while to see you finally buying something else with your drink" he said as he smiled at her, y/n walked towards the counter and placed her ramen along with her favorite drink on the counter "I know, I'm changing histories haha" y/n said as she laughed, Namjoon couldn't help but laugh with her as he checked out for her items, "any reasons behind why did you decide to change histories today?" Namjoon said as he looked at her "boss didn't let us have lunch break today.. I'm really hungry I haven't eaten pretty much the whole day" y/n said which made Namjoon look at her with worried eyes "that's so wrong of him.. I don't know why but sometimes the thought of your boss makes me feel so mad" Namjoon said as he looked at y/n "you don't deserve this.. You work so hard" Namjoon completed his sentence. "I can't do anything about it... He's gonna cut my payment if I say something about it" y/n said as she pulled out her wallet to pay, Namjoon looked at her with a soft look "y/n.." he was loss of words, "bye see ya!" said y/n as she walked out the convenience store, "see you y/n!" Namjoon said as he watched her walk out, he was very worried about her health, he wished he could take care of her only if they were a bit closer with each other...

Another exhausting day for y/n but this time it was a bit worse, she walked in the convenience store walking towards the beverage aisle as her usual routine "hey Namjoon" she greeted Namjoon like how she usually does "hey y/n how was your day today?" Namjoon said as he gave her a warm smile "not good" y/n said which made Namjoon now look at her with eyes full of worry "what happened?" Namjoon asks her but she doesn't say anything, "y/n?" y/n then starts breaking down, which made Namjoon stand up from his chair and run towards y/n "everything will be okay, let's calm down" Namjoon said as he pulled her in a comforting hug "no nothing is getting better! I've been overworking myself, I haven't been able to even rest properly, I hate my life so much" y/n vented in between her sobs, which made Namjoon now hold her tight in his arms as he calmed her down with sweet words.. Soon then y/n calmed down "Im sorry, that was probably so random of me to breakdown in a literal convenience store" Namjoon looked at her "no please don't apologize, it's alright and I'm sure now you'll feel better since you've let out all your emotions" y/n smiled at him before she grabbed herself her usual drink and walked towards the counter with Namjoon following behind her so he can get back to his seat and check out for her "Namjoon.. Do you wanna hang out sometime? Maybe we'll be able to see each other somewhere that's not a convenience store" he looked at her and smiled warmly at her "I would very much like to hang out with you, you're right! We would see each other for the first time somewhere that isn't this store" Namjoon said as he checked out for her items "it's.. It's Wednesday.. How about we meet at the nearby park on Friday? Around 2 pm if that's okay with you" y/n said as she pulled out her wallet to pay "alright I'm in" Namjoon said as he smiled at her which she returned back "see ya joonie" y/n said as she walked out

Namjoons pov:

I can't believe she just asked me to hang out with her, I'm so happy but nervous at the same time, I always wanted to spend time with her for longer but it was almost impossible until today she asked me to hang out with her at the nearby park, I smiled as now many imaginations started filling my head, what if she likes me too? What if she's gonna ask me out, nah maybe she just wanna hang out as friends.. I don't know but I'm so excited

It was the next day today, just one more day and I'll be able to see her for longer, it was 9 pm and I was waiting for her to show up but there was no sign of her, it's been half an hour now and still no sign of her, I started overthinking. I hope she's okay, she still hasn't gotten here today to get her daily drink, I started getting more and more worried, I kept glancing at the door hopping she'd show up but she didn't, i never got the chance to exchange numbers with her too I'm so stupid.. I really hope she shows up tomorrow, I hope she doesn't leave me, i really hope she shows up, I'm so worried

End of Namjoons pov

Authors pov:

Namjoon sat on one of the benches in the park, he looked around hoping to himself that the next person he looks at is her, it's 2:10 pm now, he let out a sigh as he laid his head back and thought to himself "maybe she just wanted to play with my feelings" soon then he felt someone touch his hand, he quickly opened his eyes and looked at the person who was sitting on the same bench as him "Y/N?!!" he said as he pulled her in a tight hug "joon... I'm sorry I got very tired yesterday so I went to sleep instead of getting my favorite drink from my favorite convenience store" y/n said as she smiled and giggled a little, "you have no idea how worried I was about you!! Doesn't help with the fact that we never even exchanged numbers, I was really worried about you" Namjoon said as he still kept her tight in his arms "you're right we haven't exchanged numbers yet.." y/n says to Namjoon, soon then he pulls away "joonie" y/n said as she looked in Namjoons eyes "yes y/n?" Namjoon said as he felt his heart skip a bit. "I like you..." Namjoons eyes widen at y/ns words. He couldn't believe what he just heard "I don't know if I heard you correctly can you repeat your words" Namjoon said as he felt his face redden a little "I like you joon, I feel like you're the only one person in my life that understands me, I feel so comfortable around you" Namjoon was still in shock as he looked at her be so straight forward about her feelings "y/n I like you too, I've always liked you ever since you started coming to the convenience store.. It's almost like you're the only reason why I still work as a cashier there, I liked you from the very beginning and I enjoyed every little time we had each day, I like you too y/n" Namjoon said as he pulled her in a kiss, he couldn't control his happiness, y/n kissed him back
