Heres the recipe for those who missed out on the advent Callander recipe!

V's Holiday Suga'r' Kookies:

170 Grams Of Butter
150 Grams Of Suga'r'
270 Grams Of Flour (ALL PURPOSE)
1 Egg
1/4 Salt
Half Teaspoon Baking Powder
Two Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 Teaspoon Almond Extract (optional)

DIRECTIONS: COOKIES 🍪

* Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

* Cream Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Then, add the egg and vanilla extract (and almond extract if using) and beat again until well combined.

* Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed until just combined. If the dough seems too soft and sticky, add one more tablespoon of flour.

* Roll Out Dough: Divide the dough into two equal parts. Place each portion onto a piece of lightly floured parchment paper or a lightly floured baking mat. Roll out each piece of dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch using a rolling pin.

* Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheets: Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line two or three large baking sheets with parchment paper.

* Cut Out Cookies: Using a cookie cutter, cut out shapes from the rolled-out dough. Repeat with the second piece of dough.

* Bake Cookies: Place the cut-out cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 11-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned.

DIRECTIONS: ICING 🍬

* Mix Icing Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 4-5 tablespoons of water. Whisk the mixture until it reaches the desired consistency. If the icing is too thick, add more water, a tablespoon at a time, and whisk until it reaches the desired consistency.

* Color Icing (Optional): If you want to color the icing, add food coloring to the bowl and stir until the desired color is achieved.

* Decorate Cookies: You can either dip the cookies into the icing or use a piping bag fitted with a piping tip to decorate the cookies. Decorate as desired.

TIPS

* To prevent the cookies from spreading too much while baking, chill the cut-out cookies on the baking sheets for 10-15 minutes before baking.

* For a thicker icing, use less water. For a thinner icing, use more water.

OVERALL MAKE SURE TO TRY THESE BECAUSE I DID AND THEY TURNED OUT AMAZING AND VERY DELICIOUS 🎄🎁✨
