I was just packing for the trip and Brandon called me. Here's how the call went:
Brandon: Hey Nikki, just reminding you that the trip is tomorrow and that you should be packed.
Nikki: Yeah, I was just packing, and I was wondering something.
Brandon: I'm all ears.
Nikki: Are you mad at me for what I did to Mackenzie?
Brandon: Yes, well, it was wrong, and I am upset. It's just that I know that she had been a bully to you for long, but you didn't have to do this. I thought we had a connection, but I was wrong. Maybe Mackenzie is better for me.
Nikki: Wait what? Mackenzie??
Brandon: Yeah, I asked her out today and she said that we could tell everyone that we are dating today but she wants to be the one telling everyone. I told her I would tell you that me and Mackenzie are dating so here it is.
Nikki: Brandon, I'm not feeling very well, I think I have to go lie down for a bit. See you tomorrow.
Brandon: Nik-
I didn't let him finish and hanged up. Brandon and MACKENZIE dating? That's really messed up.
I stopped packing my clothes and lied down on my bed. I felt awful and I didn't want to go tomorrow. I guess I have to text Brandon to say that there was a family emergency.
I really thought we had something; I fell asleep dreaming about Brandon.
