In the middle

Theo POV:

Clare poured Zoey's smoothie on Chloe, and I started to get scared. I know, I'm a man and I should probably stop this, but I want to see what happens. I knew I would regret texting Clare and asking her to come hang out with me while Nikki was here.

Stupid me.

Before I could stop this, Nikki slapped Clare right on the face and her eyes screamed anger. I've never seen Nikki like this before. Clare glared at Nikki, and I could sense her madness. Her cheek was red and burning with pain. Even if Mackenzie insulted Nikki, she wouldn't do this. I could sense Nikki's madness.

'Ladies, calm down. Let's not fight here. You both landed one.'

Nikki, Chloe, and Zoey walked off and Clare rolled her eyes at me and did the same. I knew I had to choose one, Nikki or Clare. I decided as soon as I asked myself. Nikki would be the better fit and if Clare wanted to have a chance with me, she would have to prove it. 

I texted Clare that I chose Nikki over her and then texted Nikki an apology and said that whatever Clare and I had was over.

Of course, Clare was persistent. She texted me that if it was because Nikki was prettier, she could get plastic surgery for me. I ignored her text and Nikki texted me that she wants to spend the day with her besties and needs time without me. I agreed and went to find Marcus and Brandon. 

Brandon would be with Mackenzie and Marcus would probably be with Brandon. I needed a boys talk.

When I found them and we had privacy from Mackenzie (who was so clingy to Brandon), I explained what happened and Marcus was upset at me for talking to Clare while I was with Nikki. Brandon just looked deep in thought.

I spent my day with the boys and Mackenzie who wouldn't leave Brandon alone. She put her arm around Brandon's and followed us around while going on slides and rides. On some rides, Brandon had to stay back because Mackenzie didn't want to go on it. Me and Marcus were alone on most rides, and he would talk to me about my problems and how to fix them. He was a real bro.

I didn't see Clare for the rest of the day, but I didn't mind. If only I knew why, then I would stop her...
