"Hello Atlas."
I turn round slowly, to see Sirius Black stood at the door. He smiles wildly and continues, "Have you disappointed your family enough to have your last name changed then?"
Ron groans and I say, "Yeah... but only my dad. Are you really my uncle?"
"Second cousin technically," he says, holding his arms out for a hug, "But you can call me uncle."
His hands are outstretched. All I have to do is walk over. I have nothing to lose. He wants me in his family. He wants to talk to me. I take a step forwards, and he smiles wider. I keep walking, eventually into his arms. He wraps his arms round me and I feel wanted. I hear Ron say something, along with Harry and Hermione's voice.

I step away and say, "Guys, please, here him out."
Harry grabs me away from him, forcing him to the floor. Lupin slams in and I am pushed into the wall, hitting my leg, making it bleed like Ron's. I can't here anything, and that makes it worse. Sirius helps me up, and I hug him back this time. Harry scoffs and Hermione says, "YOU MONSTER ATLAS."
"You betrayed my parents." Harry hisses.
"Peter Pettigrew..." Sirius laughs. Severus's voice echoes and I start crying. I need to stop. This is embarrassing. Severs grabs my collar and pulls me away. I can't breathe now. He practically throws me to Lupin, who is much more gentle. Harry pushes Snape onto the bed with a spell, which I think knocks him out.

Sirius yells, "PETER PETTIGREW IS THIS STUPID RAT."
Scabbers tries running off, but turns into a man half way through jumping into a hole in the wall. I hear Hermione gasp and she pulls me away from Lupin. She helps me to the floor and Lupin says, "YOU SOLD JAMES AND LILY TO VOLDEMORT."
"I didn't mean too..." He whimpers. Harry suddenly screams, "NO!"
We all freeze, but I pull my wand out to him. I hobble over, cursing with every step. Lupin begs, "This man is a-"
"I know what he is," Harry snaps, "But lets take him back to the castle."
"Thank you!" Peter cries. Harry stops him and says, "I said take you back to the castle. Then the dementors can do what they want."

I cling onto Sirius, who helps Ron hobble out of the tree. Once out, Sirius turns to me and says, "Me, you and Harry. We can be a proper family. I'm sorry this happened. You make me proud, Atlas..."
He trails off and I say, "Black. Atlas Black."
He smiles and says, "Okay, Atlas Black. It has been a real honour meeting you, young Atlas Black."
I nod and say, "Thank you, Uncle."
He smiles again, his eyes watering ever so slightly. Suddenly, Hermione screams for Harry. She is pointing at Lupin, who is transfiguring into a... a werewolf.

Severus throws himself in front of us and I bury my face into Hermione's chest. She pulls away and tries reasoning with Lupin. Sirius and him begin fighting, and I feel the world start to spin.
"This might complicate things?" I say, just as everything goes black.

I wake up in the infirmary, screaming. Ron looks at me in horror and I say, "GET ME SEVERUS RIGHT NOW."
Hermione turns to look at me and I scream, "GET ME SEVERUS."
I throw the blanket off me and groan at the sight of my leg all bandaged up. It isn't broken though, so I stand up to hobble over to Harry. He is about to say something, but I speak first.
"Where is Sirius Black?"
"One of the furthest towers."
Dumbledore's voice makes me jump and he continues, "And I do believe you. However, the truth is meaningless to those who wont listen. Mysterious thing; time. When meddled with, Dangerous. You know the laws, Miss Granger. I should find two turns should do it. If you succeed tonight, more than one innocent life will be saved tonight. And oh, I find tracing my steps to be rather helpful. Good luck."

The door is hardly shut when Hermione puts the time turner over mine and Harry's heads. She checks my watch and says, "Seven thirty... where were we?"
"I dunno," Harry says, "Going to Hagrid's?"
She takes off running, and I watch from afar as past self punches Draco.
"That was a beautiful punch, Mines."
"Thank you." She says, blushing a little. I follow her down to Hagrid's hut, cursing quietly every single time I have to put pressure on my foot.
"Remember what Dumbledore said?" She whispers as we hide behind pumpkins. I can see the minister arriving and Harry snaps, "Why aren't we leaving?"
I look at a rock on a pumpkin and launch it. It whacks a vase, smashing it. I throw another, which hits Harry in the back of the head.

I feel bad, but it works. Past Harry looks round and they escape out the back door. We hide further into the forest, and I have to hold back a scream as Hermione races back to where Buckbeak is. Harry walks ahead, trying to lure Buckbeak away, but god is that thing a stubborn Hippogriff. Hermione squeezes my hand and I say, "I hate this so so much."
"Same here." Hermione gasps, running a head to Harry. We managed to get Buckbeak away, but he is hesitant around me. Probably can sense I'm related to Draco arrogant Malfoy. I gasp as the executioner lifts up his axe, swinging it down on a pumpkin. Hermione pulls my hand, dragging me further and further into the forest.

I want to scream, the pain in my leg blazing. Hermione says, "Look at them."
Lupin and Severus both walk into the tree, leaving Harry, Hermione and I to wait. Harry says, "Before, down by the lake when I was with Sirius, I saw someone. That someone made the dementors go away."
"A Patronus." Hermione says, "I overheard Snape telling Dumbledore."
"It was my dad."
"Harry, your dads..." Hermione trails off.
"Dead, I know."

Harry seems really set on life. He says, "Sirius asked me to live with him. Me, Atlas and Sirius. Just us three."
I can't respond before we are back up and running again. Hermione howls, making Lupin come running to us. I rely on Hermione to actually help me get anywhere, my leg sending a sharp shooting pain every time I step. Hiding behind a tree, waiting for death is not fun at all. I do not recommended to anyone who wants to do it.

I turn round to the lake, where Harry and Sirius are lying across from us.
"This is awful." I say.
"Don't worry," Harry responds, "My dad will come. Any minute now. Any minute."
I watch, paralysed as Harry tries to postpone. Then, he runs forwards and screams, "EXPECTO PATRONUM."
Past Harry falls to the floor, collapsed and Hermione grabs my wrist with my watch on it. We have about ten minutes to get back.
