I woke up to my loud alarm, in my bed, the bed back in my actual home. Well, temporary home, as I'm moving pretty soon. When I got home last night, one of the first things I did was search for new houses. And my money did come through right before I got my new phone.

But yeah, I went house searching and managed to find one I like. Though I haven't started packing yet because I went to sleep almost immediately after renting a moving truck. Luckily I managed to pull a few strings as I didn't want to have to wait a week or more to get the truck as well as move into the house.

And when I say pulled a few strings, I really mean I agreed to pay double for both. It's not it put a dent in my pocket or anything.

I was exhausted and couldn't wait any longer to get back in my bed.

But today, I planned on waking up early to get started on packing up my stuff. Though the only things I'm taking are my clothes, the tv, and a couple of furniture. I'll just donate the rest.

I got started after getting ready, taking a shower, brushing my teeth, getting dressed, all that stuff. And later went out to get boxes and tape, I realized I didn't have any when I went to put my clothes in my suitcases.

But I spent like half the day packing things. Once I got everything into their respective boxes, I brought everything downstairs and into the truck. I got a friend of mine, Brian Turner, to drive my car to my new place. We go way back, I guess you could say.

We've known each other since senior year in high school, and I owe him a lot. He's the one who got me my first job, the one who let me stay at his place when I lost said job.

I owe him everything. Which is why I didn't tell him I was fired from this job. I didn't want him to help me anymore, I hated not being able to do things on my own, I hated asking for help. And in a way, I still do.

I hear a whistle behind me as I get out the truck, parking it in my new drive way. "This you?" He smiled, staring at the house ahead. "Yeah man. You like." I smiled. It was a nice two story house, with a nice beige colored exterior, and a two door garage. It was a ways out of the city, which is why I picked it. It wasn't cheap but it wanted all that expensive either.

There weren't that many houses around but I could see couple up and down the streets.

"Like? I love it!" He exclaimed, laughing as he picked me up from the ground. "Ok ok! That's enough." I snorted, shoving him to the side. "Look at you, getting all grown and stuff." He teased, taking a box from the back of the truck.

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes. I walked up to the front door, holding the box up with my left arm and unlocking the door with my right.

I pushed the door open and was met with a nice carpeted floor. Of course all the rooms were empty but I already knew that this first room on the left would be the living room, and that the one on the right would be the dining room.
