Chapter 9: Oops|Find Them

I'm in an amazingly good mood today, so I've decided to bless you all.

Location: Earth Dimension

Thrusday - Wednesday
April 25 - May 1 2025

Day 10 - 16
9:20 am

I woke up and did my morning routine, breakfast, workout, shower, teeth. Once I finished, I would get dressed and head out to 'Leirans', the building not the dimension, which I soon realize I hadn't been to in days. Though I become aware of that later on.

   It's essentially a repeat everyday, I do my routine, check out Leirans, meet with a client, and head home and go to sleep. Though on occasions I'll hang with Brian or help count money after closing.

   And sometimes when I get home, I don't immediately go to sleep. I'll stay up later and set up my schedule or restock on merchandise. And on top of that I also have to send paychecks to all my employees as well as set their schedules for when they don't come in or are on sick leave.

   But right not now I am currently sitting in bed, pjs on, with my laptop, ironically, sitting on my lap.

   I was writing notes and keeping tabs on all my income when droid appeared on my shoulder. I jumped back, hitting my head on the head board of my bed.

   "Seriously! You've got to cut that out!" I exclaimed as I rubbed the back of my head. "Apologies. But I have a question." He said.

   "Ask away." I groaned. "When do you plan on going back?" He asked. I furrowed my brows as I continued typing. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "I'm talking about Leiran." He replied. "I've been going everyday droid." I rolled my eyes.

   "No numb-nuts. I'm talking about the Leiran." He gestured his hands out. I could feel my forehead crease as I looked up at him. "Dani! Rya! Those names ring a bell!" He shouted as he stared in disbelief. My eyes widened as I looked down at him. Oh my god.

   Oh my god. Oh My God!

   I moved my laptop to the side and reached for my phone. I checked the date 'May 1, 2025'.

   'No. No no no.' I pulled out the system pulled up my stats.

   "God damnit! Droid!" I screamed. "Why didn't you say anything!" I yelled, jumping up from my bed.

   "I assumed you had a date planned for your return." He said. "Were my predictions incorrect?" He asked. "Very!" I yelled.

   I rushed to my closet, pulling out an old shoe box. Inside were the two phones I had gotten for them. I grabbed a bag and started stuffing it with clothes.

   I got dressed and raced downstairs, I made sure I had my phone and my keys before I rushed outside. "So where are we going?" Droid asked. "To the warehouse." I replied before pulling out of the driveway.

   After speeding down the road, I reached the warehouse within 15 minutes. I shut off the engine and made my way inside. The lights all begin flickering on, one by one as I walk further and further down the aisles. I eventually reach the shelf I was looking for and sift through the crates at the bottom.
