Sofia De Ricci:
I burst through the door not even thinking. I instantly regret it as I get a harsh glare from Alex and a cold look from Damien. The room was pretty much all white and smelt like a hospital. Damien was sat on a comfy-looking chair while Alex had perched himself against the wall on the hospital-like bed.
"Can we help you?" Damien asks in his perfectional tone. I stand in silence not knowing what to say. I probably should say I'm sorry except I'm not.
"I wanted to know if he's alright?" I say directing to Alex who was still firing death glares in my direction. He just scoffs before getting up and limping over to me.
"Why the hell would you care? You are the reason I've got a bullet in my leg." Damien doesn't intervene just stares at us with an amused smirk.
"If you weren't acting like suck a jerk I wouldn't have done it." I spat back, I'm trying to be fucking polite, and that's what I get.
"I was trying to help you!" And before I could reply with another one of my smart remarks Alex shoves me out and slams the door. Pussy!
I let out a loud groan. What is his fucking problem! I storm down the corridor to my room only to find all my brothers rummaging through my stuff.
"What the fuck is going on!" I yell causing everyone to look in my direction. Lorenzo huffs and everyone just gives him a strange look.
"Sofia, you were high as fuck earlier and you fucking shot Alex. You might not understand now but if you piss those people off were all screwed and I'm not having another one of those incidents again." I raise my brow looking at him.
"How has that got anything to do with you guys searching through my room." Everyone's eyes snapped towards my bed and on it were a few pistols I'd nicked from Antonio and Benjamino's rooms. Along with a couple of bags of weed and a small bag of coke. How the hell did they find that?
"Hey, that's my stuff," I yell but before I can grab it Matteo grips on my wrist. I still had bruises from the Serbians so I let out a load hiss in pain. Matteo didn't let go, he looked at me cold. I completely forgot about the stuff on my bed and rather I just stared at my older brother. He wouldn't look me in the eye but he had a cold feeling about him.
"Let go." I finally snapped out of my thought and pulled my wrist again but it didn't budge. I tried again and again but Matteo wouldn't let go. I started to panic, I felt like I was trapped again. I wanted out. I don't care about the stuff. Tears started to flow down my face as I continued to pull my arm away but still Matteo didn't move my other brothers were still too busy searching around my room to notice us. I could feel my lung tighten indicating I was going to have a panic attack soon. I need to get out. My room started to feel smaller and my eyes started to blur as the stream of tears didn't stop falling down my cheeks. Matteo stared at me like a robot, he must have thought I was faking it.
I feel like I'm breathing through a straw once again. My legs gave way and that's when Matteo softened for just a second. He released my arm and I grabbed onto my chest trying to calm myself. I hunched over trying to remind myself I was safe. I'm never going back. I'm safe.
My other brothers had finally noticed and had kneeled trying to calm me but my breathing wasn't settling anytime soon. I continued to panic, I'd never had a panic attack this bad before. Everything was going quiet and my surroundings blurred even more and I could see blurry figures moving around the room until I collapsed. The world went dark around me and I felt my body relax.
