Matteo De Ricci:

Sleep. A non-existent thing to me. I rarely get much sleep. Never have since the day when Sofia was 4 and I was 9. The day she was taken. I still take the burden of it being my fault even though I've heard countless amounts of people tell me it was never my fault. That I was too young. That I couldn't stop it. I never believed one person until Sofia told me the same thing. Only then did I believe those words.

Until she left again.

I was around 6 am which for most people is a reasonable time to wake up. After another sleepless night I remove the bed sheets quickly changing into an appropriate outfit for today. I just plan on doing some training and check ups on the warehouses. The ball was coming up and that meant more Mafia's would be near by and take the chance to raid them.

I step into the dim lit hallway only to stop a shadow creeping further down the hall way. It was a female figure coming from Sofia's room. Who the fuck is that.

I quietly stalk behind the figure watching their moves only to notice that dark shoulder length brunette hair my sister had.

It was clear she was walking away, doing something she shouldn't be doing. As her heels were gripped in her left hand and and a bag in her other. She also wore a rather formal suit for just going into the kitchen. She was sneaking out again.

My little sister was sneaking out. It reminded me of that time when she was 15 and escaped with her friend Emma. We made sure that they could never sneak out that way again. The abandoned bomb shelter was filled in a soon as Sofia wasn't able to be located. We made sure that she'd never be able to sneak out that way again. But the longer she was missing the more hope we lost and we knew that she'd never see that house again.

I continued following her watching as she walked closer to the front door. Where the fuck was she going especially dressed like that. My suspicions grew as she walked over to one of the garages and hopped onto one of the many bikes on display and let the engine roar to life.

She pressed on the gas and spend out the drive way. I quickly pulled out a set of car keys from a jogger pockets and the yellow lambo switched on. I winced at the colour as I wasn't into the bright coloured cars unlike Pietro and Alessandro. God sake I must have picked up Pietro's washing again, no wonder these feel so tight around my waist.

I pulled open the door and stepped into the drivers seat. Without even thinking I was up the drive way speeding behind Sofia. This is the worst car to follow someone with but it's to late now.

We really needed to get a proper tracker on this girl. I made sure to keep a good distance from my sister as I knew she was smart enough to figure it out and the bright colour wasn't helping me blend in with the normal coloured cars around.

I followed as she drove into an underground apartment parking lot the guy guarding the the drive way nodded his head and opened the gates for her. Did she have a fucking apartment. I pulled over and parked in one of the parks on the side of the road and raced across the busy street.
