Sofia De Ricci:

I stare at the new tally I'd just finished, I'd been scraping tallies on the wall counting the days I've been here and now I think it would take an entire day to count how many lines I've permanently scratched onto the walls over the years.

When I hear the corridor door open I ignore the person strolling down the hall who was now on the other side of the bars which I'm guessing will be a guard, but when I turn to see a man around my age. His hair was a mess but then again it kind of suited him. He was wearing black tracksuits with a white hoodie as well as some basic Jordans. Not the kind of outfit I'd imagine you'd torture someone in but I'm not the one to judge.

"Hi." He says in a shy voice. I stop what I'm doing dropping the piece of stone and look at the boy on the other side of the bars.

"Uhh, hi?" I say in a confused tone and he doesn't say anything so I spat. "Dude if you here to torture me just get it over with"

"I'm not here to torture you.".

"Who are you and what do you want then?".

"I'm Ivan Radonjic." His voice sounded rather squeaky but replies without hesitation.

"Wait Randonjic? As in Bosko's son? I didn't know he had more than one kid." He gives me a slight nod before saying, "Yeah he's got 5 kids."

"Really! Sorry, but I'm kind of shocked anyone would want to fuck an ugly creation like him, no offense. Now answer the second question what do you want?" I say raising my eyebrow.

"I want to help you escape."

"What?" I ask sitting down facing the bars and drawing a flower on the cold stone with a piece of loose rock.

"I want to help you escape." He repeats.

"Yeah I heard you the first time, but even if you did try the guards watching the cameras would already know what you planning," I say flicking pieces of dirt away from my drawing.

"No, they won't I disabled the cameras." He says shocking me but I don't show him that so I hum in response.

"But why would you want to help me? My brothers own the Mafia your enemies with."

"That doesn't make you the enemy, though."  He's got a point.

"Ok but still why would you want to help me, your father would kill you if he found out your the reason why I escaped," I say as he sits down opposite me.

"Because you're innocent, you don't deserve to be here." Is he that oblivious?

"Sorry to burst your bubble mate, but I'm not exactly innocent anymore," I say exaggerating the word innocent.

"Yeah, but you were when you first came in here and you did everything you could to survive even if that meant you had to kill other people." I look at the boy who's just staring at me trying too hard to search my emotionless face.
