after leaving the rooftop Elizabeth agreed to stay one more day because of how alluring Tom was. she enjoyed how he wasn't afraid to show her how he felt and he always knew how to show her how much she meant to him.
she was too busy caught up in her thoughts she didn't notice the time and the knocks on her door. Tom and Elizabeth were going out to dinner or on a date after he was done filming so she was waiting for him.
when she heard the knocks she immediately grabbed her purse ready to head out. when she opened the door she saw him in a dress shirt and pants with his famous bleach buzz.
when he saw her he couldn't help but stare in awe, "you're truly the most beautiful girl," he says taking her hand in his after she closed her room door.
they made their way to the car he was given and Tom being a gentleman made sure to open all of her doors. the two talked about their days and such while on their way to the restaurant.
when elizabeth saw the restaurant she couldn't help but feel guilty. it definitely looked expensive and she didn't want him spending so much on her. he reassured her he didn't mind and he would spend his last dime on her.
their dinner was nice. it was filled with loads of laughter and great food. there never really was a dull moment when she was with Tom and she enjoyed that feeling of happiness. he always reminded her to have fun and never take life too seriously.
after their dinner they went and walked around for a bit not wanting the night to end since they both knew Elizabeth would be leaving soon. they walked hand in hand window shopping and looking at all the little shops that were still open at the late hour.
they finished the night by getting ice cream and sitting in an empty park near a lake. they really couldn't get enough of each other. hearing Elizabeth's voice was better than listening to her music in Tom's opinion. he knew she was going to be the light of his life because of the little scenarios he made up in his head to help him sleep. if you were to put every person he's ever met without any doubt he'd be sprinting to Elizabeth Wolff.
he continued to admire her as she talked about how she planned out her future and while she was on the topic he couldn't help but blurt out, "let me be apart of it. i want to be in every chapter and every moment of your life."
she looked at him shocked almost dropping her spoon, "what, all of a sudden?"
"i've always felt this way towards you. i can't live knowing that one day some asshole could steal you away if i don't speak now. so please, let me be your boyfriend?" he was practically begging.
she laughed at his words. no man in her life has ever phrased those words like that, and she couldn't help but feel the backflips in her stomach going crazy because she only heard those words in the cheesy romcoms.
she could see how nervous Tom was and broke into a wide smile, "i would say yes in every universe."
his nerves immediately died down and he couldn't resist the temptation of wanting to kiss her again which took Elizabeth by surprise but she reacted quick.
they left the park hand in hand in comfortable silence. Elizabeth had a bitter feeling since she knew she'd be leaving early in the morning, but she was happy she was able to see her favorite person before she left.
THEY'RE FINALLY TOGETHER!!!! i felt like i dragged it on for too long but now i can finally write cute little chapters :)
