Y/n wakes up in the hospital as he looks around

Y/n: What happened...?

Sakura: Y/n!!

Sakura hugs Y/n as Y/n goes a bit red

Y/n: You are....hugging me quite tight Sakura-san...

Sakura: O-oh...I'm sorry about that.

Sakura goes a bit red as she steps back also

Y/n: What happened?

Sakura: You passed out after your battle with Shino.

Y/n: Oh yeah...

Y/n remembers how he went up against Shino and was able to use a lighting release kenjutsu attack which took down Shino, advancing him into the next round

Y/n: What about the other fights?

Sakura: Kankuro won his fight against his opponent, I won against Ino!!

Y/n: Oh really!? That's good Sakura! I am proud of you!

Sakura blushes

Sakura: T-thanks Y/n-kun...

Y/n: Did you use your strength to take her down?

Sakura: Yeah! And I also used one of the genjutsu that's you taught me which did get me the win!

Y/n smiles as he remembers

Y/n: What about Naruto? Shika? Choji? And Hinata?

Sakura: Naruto beat Kiba, Shikamaru beat that Kin woman, Choji lost his fight and for Hinata....

Sakura looks down to the ground

Y/n: What happened?

Sakura: She got defeated by Neji. Neji had to be stopped by the jonin as he was about to attack her one more time.

Y/n: Tch....That Neji.

Sakura: Rock Lee went up against Gaara as well

Y/n: How did it go?

Sakura looks even more depressed as Y/n looks at her

Y/n: Did...something happen to Rock Lee...

Sakura: Gaara used his sand to shatter Lee's leg. He had been hospitalised

Y/n looks back up at Sakura

Y/n: So what is going to be happening now?

Sakura: Now there will be the preliminaries.

Y/n: Who am I going up against?

Sakura: You are going up against Neji

Y/n looks down then looks outside at the sunny day in Konoha

Y/n: I'll get stronger so that I won't be so handicapped as it was when I was going up against Shino

Y/n clenches his fist as he smiles
