Her heartbeat pulled her out of her nightmares.  That mean man was following her everywhere she went and she would feel sick to her stomach everytime he smiled at her.  She wanted to tell Daddy about him but everytime she started to get his attention, something happened to pull him away from her.  This last time she saw the man, his smile made her so scared, like something was going to grab her from the shadows.  Right when she got Daddy's attention, everything went boom and she fell.  Seeing Momma laying there was so heartbreaking, why wasn't she moving?

Waking up all sweaty and terrified, she was confused for a second where she was.  Why wasn't she with the nice man and boy?  Where are they?  Why did they let this mean man grab her?  Her poor heart was thumping so hard, would that man hear it?  The fear was a thick blanket that covered her, making her gasp for air.  The man could feel her fear, it put a smile on his face.  He put those memories into her head, chilling her very soul.

That soft feeling crept back into her body, she suddenly knew that it's time.  A frown formed on his face, where was her fear?  He couldn't sense them, what is happening?  As he walked toward the room she's in, there is a small tremor that shakes the building.  The few people he has with him are looking at him with confusion and fear.  He grabs a few men and forces them to walk with him.

The room is empty.

He is suddenly overwhelmed by rage, the men with him drop to the floor in seconds.  The building stops shaking and a disturbing calm comes over everyone.  He knows who is behind this, he knows who is calming his people down, taking their fear away.  Knowing what has happened causes him to twitch and as he rips the shadows open around him, his people slowly drop one by one to the floor, unmoving.

She opens her eyes to see the boy looking down at her.  His frightened eyes cause her to smile and as she reaches up to touch his cheek, his eyes close.  His quick and frantic breaths calm down, the man clutching his shoulder also seems to breathe easier.  The boy's ocean eyes swim lazily as he opens them once more.  He looks at her in awe, asking her one thing.  "Did you ever need training?  We were outside the building and so worried, unsure what to do and suddenly you were here."

The nice man picks her up in his safe, secure arms and they walk away from the building.  The boy can feel her in his soul.  She is walking around, rearranging things as one would in a new home.  He can feel himself fading as she wanders, feels himself becoming what he was meant to be.  The nice man sets her down outside a building and knocks on the door.  He turns around, giving her one last smile before he walks away.

The next thing she knows, people are picking her up, crying with relief.  They are examining her wrists, frowning at the bruises, taking the band aid off her arm and calling her father on the phone.  "She is safe, we found her right outside the office here.  She doesn't remember what happened but she's not scared.  Yes, please come right away.  Yes, we are happy she is safe too."

She is happy too, waiting to tell her Daddy everything that has happened.

She is on the path to the playground, heading for the slide when she is pushed to the ground.  She looks up and sees a very angry face looking at her as he walks away.  A young boy stops to help her up, he looks into her baby blue eyes and sees the deep blue universe swirling within.  As she gets up and walks to the slide, she looks around and smiles serenely .
