Chapter 6 Day Out On The Town

Y/N walked with Arethusa. She forgave Y/N provided he go out shopping with her----and pay for everything. Of course Y/N gritted his teeth, but at the same time accepted what had occurred with Mink and Kodiak demanding he do this today. Of course, they chose the most expensive Italian restaurant in town for all of them to eat at later. The client did pay Y/N, his sisters, and Arethusa practically a kings ransom. A king's ransom indeed given the million spent in rearming the three corvettes and paying their crews. Arethusa's mouth was watering at how much money she got for the job. It was the government that actually paid the ships as this was a historic event. Y/N and his sisters invested copious millions into establishing a space program for one reason: they couldn't use many of their abilities without a data network and satellites in orbit.

As powerful as the Horizon class was, they carried often 24 ASMs, and 16 SAMS. 62 SAMs such as the Sea Sparrow if quad packed. Often it was 36 Quad Packed SAMs and 8 ASROCs. Even then, it was still terrifying dealing with Kansen, and more so with Sirens. The reason why is you never wanted to run out of missiles. That happening was the worst case scenario for a modern naval vessel as it left it practically defenseless, and it to Y/N and his sisters, it was a feeling as worse as being forced to go shopping buck naked.

It was not a good time to experience.

The Mercenary Warfare Corporation, the company Y/N founded in South Africa, while neutral with the Sirens still had the alien girls pick fights with them. Also, their empress had the hots for Y/N so there were episodes where Purifier made an effort to abduct Y/N. Given his penchant for dark practical humor, these episodes ended up enraging their empress. Often in hilarious ways.

so the assignment Y/N and his sisters competed wasn't the first time the Male Kansen and that siren spent days together. many occasion, his sisters wondered if those two were secretly dating given how many time the scenario of Purifier spending time aboard had occurred. In all honesty, she was fairly appealing. So what went down today was just, "You got me good this time. Next week same time?" It frankly was worthy of being a Sitcom.

in the here and now, both Y/N's sisters watched their brother's date. In truth, they wanted him to given them a Niece or Nephew to dote on and spoil. Human women were among Y/N's myriad of ex girlfriends. However, any of them he found were after his for him body, which prompted him bouncing. At least he has standards. (A/N very important to have folks.) As for Alexia, she was one of his Exs as well. Nice girl, but things didn't work out due to captains no matter their sex are married to their vessel, so the two were incompatible for the reason that they wouldn't be able to spend much time together, and given Y/N's introversion, he was monogamous for the most part. Shame really given how nice of a person she was.

as for Y/Ns sisters, the six of them had a betting poll to bet on who their brother would end up going with. Purifier was on the poll as one potential option he'd pick. Those two did have some hidden chemistry going on. Anyone could tell she obviously had feelings for the male Kansen. Many of the shipgirls also had feelings for the man. The few times they visited the Azur lane base, the ship girls kept stealing looks at the Shipman while doing it under the guise of making sure he keeps out of trouble. Y/N did get love letters from those girls, but he didn't act on them. Y/N simply didn't like being overwhelmed with attention. Given the personality of those like him, his personalty was to a cat, as most humans and shipgirls were to a doggo. And Y/N was just as introverted. As such Y/N only visited when he had to. Being in his 30s and given his personality, the idea of being forced to interact with that many people---and the drama that came with it----was a total nightmare for the male Kansen.

Back to the date, Arethusa had Y/N bring her to the clothing store to pick out a swimsuit. There was going to be a day on the beach the next day, and Arethusa wanted to pick the best swimsuit to impress Y/N. The ladies in the store asked Y/N in that was his girlfriend. They knew he was a Kansen, and it was unusual to see him in such a place with a girl. Soon after buying the swimsuit, the two got ice-cream, then after that, they returned to their ships.

When Y/N returned, He met up with Lauren and chatted. It was at this moment she asked, "when are you and that Siren girl going to commit?"

"I don't think it's going to be a good idea," said Y/N

"Who cares if it's a good idea or not, but it's your call, but if you haven't noticed, she's not the only one," said lauran as she said, "I guess i'll prepare to join you guys in dinner later today."

"You're coming too?"

"Well yeah? It's not often i get to eat out, and you're loaded. So sorry, but I'm coming too," said Lauran with a giggle as she left and Y/N returned to his stateroom.

Sitting in his office, Y/N asked himself, 'what was that about?'
