His Spur-of-the-moment Decision

Chapter Fifteen

(Mevrick's POV)

We got back and I put her through my daily schedule. The meeting came and  I know that I'm supposed to be focused on the meeting but damn does she looks good in that skirt but anyways, the meeting went on. After we discussed a long time about business..

"So what made you change your mind?" I asked him

"Well, we didn't want to partner with someone who was still thinking about what's between his legs but someone who is capable of handling responsibility and seeing you ready to settle down and it's genuine, we agreed that you're someone to do business with. No offense though, we were only looking out for our company."

That was... Honest.

"Thank you for your honesty and I understand what you're saying but I always had my eyes on Theresa here and decided to take things seriously.." I caught her blush and smiled

We all stood and shook hands. "It's nice doing business with you."

"A charming man you've got here." His PA complimented Tessy before they left the board room and it was just the both of us.

"That went well." She said smiling and I pulled her to myself

"This calls for a celebration."

"What are you thinking?"

"Whatever you say, I practically got this because of you."

"No, you didn't. You got it cause you're good enough and...you got someone by your side as people think."

I kissed her softly and stared into her eyes "You still haven't said what we should do."

"Why don't I cook."

"Cook?" I am shocked

"Yeah, you haven't tasted what I've prepared and trust me it's better than any restaurant you've ever been to."

"You sound confident about your cooking."

"Very and you'll love it. What do you think I should prepare?"

"Surprise me."

"I didn't see you as the type of guy who love surprises."

"Really? What type did you see me as?"

"The organized type, the one who plans everything they do."

I chuckled a bit "That's me but.. not quite because I love it when you take me by surprise so surprise me."

"Okay."

I kissed her and asked "Do you need to get anything?"

"I'll have to check... No, I don't need anything."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, just in case.." I kissed her. "We should leave the boardroom."

"We should." She chuckled "You even have a private meeting with your staffs this evening. Need help with me sorting things out?"

"Nah..you should just take the remaining day off."

"Why? There's still a lot to do..." I kissed her to silence her.

"I need you to relax."

After arguing for a while I won. She left and I went to the last meeting for the day.

(Theresa's POV)

I used this opportunity to get creative in the kitchen even if his staffs wanted to help, I insisted on doing everything by myself and yes, time flew but at least I'm almost through. I set the table with candles kept the dim lights on, I'm telling you it looks like a romantic date. After serving the food and setting the table, I went up to get dressed.
