CHAPTER NINETEEN

[Mevrick's POV]

I had to receive the call. It was from my dad and any time he calls, it's about business. It was a good deal and if I play my cards right, I'll buy his company so the talk was long. I entered the club knowing that Tessy would be alone and wouldn't know what to do, I feel bad for leaving her there by herself. I stood where I left her but she wasn't there that was when I saw her hair color. I walked towards her and recognized the person she was talking to I became calm but that didn't last for long when I saw her hand on his chest and him removing them.

"Like I told you I can't. Mevrick's my friend and I will never do something like that to him. You should have some shame." I heard him say.

What is happening? Is Nick trying to hit on her? No, Nick is too stupid to do that. If he said he can't..does that mean...I felt my inside boil as the thought of what she was doing came in my head

"What's going on here?"I asked making my presence known. I saw how shocked she looked to see me and that just made me know exactly what she was doing and I saw red.

"Hey, man." Can't Nick see I'm not in the mood for he's stupid cheering ". "Hey, chill. Nothing happened just girls being girls. I'll leave you to it." He noticed how angry I was and just left.

We're leaving." I told her and made my way to the exit

"What!" I heard her footstep behind "Wait! Mev what's up with you?"

What's up with me? Maybe leaving you for one second and you're hitting on another guy not just any other guy but my friend?

"Are you nuts?" I asked not recognizing my own voice

"Wow." She said shocked. So she wants to act innocent now.

"Wow? How do you explain that? Hmm! How do you?" I questioned her

"Excuse me but I did nothing wrong!" She's angry? Does she even have the right to be? Has she no shame?

"Flirting with Nick and you want to act innocent?" I called her out

"Flirting with... what? And you think I can do that?" She really is good. Why don't she take acting as a career?

"I didn't think, it's what I saw." I corrected

"I didn't flirt with anyone." She denied and that just triggered me more

"And why should I believe you? You were so eager to introduce yourself to Trevor earlier." I should've seen the sign

"You're being serious."

"You know the worst part? It's you trying to act like you didn't do anything." I told her

"That's cause I didn't!" And she's still denying it!
You know what? I'm not going to do this with her. If she wants other guys? She can go have them. They are many in there. Right now all I want to do is get out of her sight so I don't say anything that I'll regret

"Where are you going?" She asked but I just opened my car and drove off.

I need to cool off. I can't believe she would do something like this. I kept driving and didn't care how fast I was that's until I realized that I left her in the middle of nowhere and that's close to the most dangerous part of town. I turned back instantly even though I was angry, I can't leave her there. I drove back to the club expecting to still see her standing there but there was no sign of her. I got down from the car and went inside to look for her. I saw Nickson and asked him but he told me he saw her leave with me. I went out and asked a security man I saw earlier and he said she went out of the club the moment I drove off but he didn't see her take a cab.
