"But can't help, falling in love with you." - Elvis Presley

『★』『★』『★』

I watched as she smiled with everyone. She was a nice person, a beautiful one at that.

Her name was Aileen, she was new here but she worked well, she got along with everyone. Catrina liked her, and I was glad they got along. Catrina often saw women as competition when they are more beautiful.

I was a married woman, but my marriage was fake, for my business. For her father. And I went along with it because I was young and stupid. I didn't think about the consequences before I signed that contract.

Aileen let out a little laugh and walked towards me, she let out a smile as she passed me and I felt like a high schooler once again. That smile was beautiful.

One of the most beautiful smiles I had seen. She was in the kitchen with me, putting dirty dishes in the sink. This was a day after our business party, and they were cleaning everything up.

"You know, a smile a day will keep the doctors away." She said, I'm pretty sure it was Apple but I never questioned it. I turned around to her, and she turned her head towards me. "What's got you all gloomy?" She asked me.

"Just work." I said, she hummed and walked to the island. "What about it? I might be able to help."

I shrugged, looking away from her. She was too beautiful to look at I might've came in my pants if I looked at her any longer. "I need a new assistant, and trying to convince someone to accept my offer."

"Ah, I know someone who could be your assistant. She's young, knows her stuff." She said. Aileen was two years younger than me. I was 27 she was 25.

"Really? How old?" I asked her. "She's 20. She's in college but it would not affect her workspace, she's sweet, she likes working." She said, sitting down across from me. I sat down as well, my arms crossed over my chest.

I nodded. "Okay, give me her information and I'll give her an interview." I said.

That was the first time we ever talked. And I loved it.

Months later that's all we did.

"Why is it weird that I like Harry Potter, huh?" We were in the second living room, which was small. "I'm not saying it's weird, just unexpected that you of all people like Harry Potter. I pegged you as a 365 days type of woman." She smirked, sipping her wine.
