Suba knew weird stuff went down here, but she'd never expected an entire quest. Not to mention the fact that no one had even known what to do or where to go.

Adrian's thought was to find Percy, and then they'd have some idea on what to do. According to the prophecy Adrian received, something really bad was coming their way, and they needed to stop it. Classic movie plot.

Annabeth basically spearheaded the entire thing since she'd had experience before. Her first idea was to go to his father's kingdom, Atlantis. But of course - to even get over there, you'd need the biggest breath in the world.

Then Suba remembered that Adrian had been claimed by Poseidon, which would mean he could breathe underwater, as he explained after Capture The Flag.

Without hesitation, Adrian dived into the water.

Adrian had definitely missed a lot while he was down there. In the beginning, it was just Suba, Christian, and Annabeth... waiting. Christian fiddled with a ball of electricity in his hands.

That was until a man on a motorcycle rolled up. "You guys lost?" He said, but it didn't sound very caring, like it was a normal question to ask. He had a beard, no helmet, and shades.

"Uh...no, we're fine, so long," Christian said quickly.

The man sighed. "He's not gonna find anything under there." The three perked up. "What do you mean?" Annabeth asked.

"Your friend, the Poseidon kid," the man replied. "He's not gonna find your boyfriend, and his dad's not gonna be much of a help either...heh, when is he ever?"

"Who...are you?" Christian asked.

The man took off his shades to reveal flaming eyes. Literally. Annabeth's eyes widened, which didn't seem like a good sign to Suba. "Ares," Annabeth said, "God of war."

Annabeth got up, "What do you want?"

Ares stood up from his motorcycle. "I didn't forget what you did to me a couple of summers back." Christian and Suba shared a look and raised their eyebrows. Us? What did we do? She thought.

Annabeth sighed and also got up. She seemed agitated by the war god. As a matter of fact, Suba started to feel anger starting to boil deep inside - as if Ares radiated rage. "You mean Percy," Annabeth said. "He was a 12-year-old half-blood at the time , and he still whooped your godly behind."

Ares summoned a baseball bat and swung it around his shoulders. Christian slowly got up and started slightly radiating electricity. Suba got up with him and took out Skylara.

"Okay - guys, you're still new to this - he will kill you. Don't you think you should sit this one out?" Annabeth said.

"Don't worry," Christian said confidently. "I think I know what I'm doing." And with that, Christian charged, going left. So naturally, Suba went right. Christian went right in with his katar full of electricity, just to get slugged with a baseball bat.

Suba slid over and sliced the back of Ares's left leg. Ares swung at her, but Suba was quick and nimble. She jabbed his other leg when Christian jumped in and tackled Ares, electrocuting him. Suba realized he wasn't using his katar.

Ares kicked Christian off of him. He landed with a thud to get slugged again in the chest and went flying. Suba and Annabeth swore under their breath. "CHRISTIAN!" Suba yelled.

But she had bigger problems to deal with right now. She turned to Ares, and her face was filled with rage. She summoned the undead from every direction, which shot down Ares until stabbing him in the chest while he was on the ground.

A golden blood poured out of his wounds. Ichor, Suba thought. Blood of the gods.

Suddenly, Ares started glowing. "Suba - look away!" Annabeth yelled. Suba figured she should listen to Annabeth and turn her head away. There was a bright light, and when she turned back, Ares was gone.

"He's not dead," Annabeth said.

Suba looked up at the sky and muttered, "Christian..."

As if right on que, or not on que for Suba, Adrian emerged from the water, completely dry. "I'm back!" He announced. He took a couple of breaths. "I couldn't find Percy... and Poseidon was no help. Where's Christian?"

Suba slowly looked at him. Her eyes were watery. Adrian's eyes widened. He looked down. Suba couldn't see his expression, but judging by the aggressively crashing waves, she could tell.

"What... happened?" Adrian asked, looking up at them again.

"Ares," Annabeth said. "He came for revenge on me, Percy, and another friend of mine after we had a run-in a few years ago."

What do I, Christian, and Adrian have to do with that? Suba thought.

"What if we visit my parents next?" Suba asked. Annabeth raised a brow. "Why would Hades know?"

Suba shrugged. "What if he does?"

Adrian sighed heavily. "We might as well." And with that, the three tried to call a cab together.
