"The Reader finally gets off the streets and get some help that isn't from a dog. The Reader finds out why they were brought to the world and is given a task. However, conflict of interest arise and the Reader is stuck in what to do."
A/n: This is a long chapter, and I finally made a schedule for this, every 3 months I will update, since it will be long chapters but if I update before the 3 months its going to be a short chapter.(Also the Lunar New Year fiasco will happen next chapter and the reader will finally meet the main cast and Wukong. Then the story can progress a lot faster.)

There was a small crowd of people. Some were waiting in line wanting a turn with a few coins ready.
"Line up and watch as the divine seer predicts the future." Jin's voice rang in the air.
You kept a straight face, pouring water on your forearm. The vibrant words glow and turn the water into the fiery orange cloud.
You had gotten used to the burning sensation; it only tingles now. Your body seems to be slowly adjusting to the new high temperatures than normal.
"Ask your question." You said softly to the young man. His face was red as he asked his question. He seems to be nervous, while not maintaining eye contact.
It's better like this anyways. You never liked people staring at you.
"Should I marry my girlfriend of three years?"
The cloud seems to shift into monochrome images. You close your eyes and blow into the cloud sending it off towards the man's direction. A few glimpses rush into your mind.
You pity him.
"She isn't the one, move on. Your girlfriend has been wanting to break it off, but you always say something that makes her feel guilty. Get with your friend, the one..." You close your eyes and try to remember. Was the jacket blue or green?
"The blue jacket... they're the one." You hesitantly said out. Now you think about it, maybe it was a long-sleeved shirt. It probably won't matter, in the end.
It's been a few weeks since the Spider Queen incident. You slept on a bench for that night. As your body begins to heat up to unbearable temperatures. It felt worse than a fever, it was as if your soul and body were being cooked from the inside out. How your body ached, you couldn't move. Not even the cold air and winds did anything. The heat radiating from you made sure it was nothing but a warm breeze.
The writing on your arm gave you a forbidding aura. "Nothing will be left", isn't the greatest message to be burned and stained onto your forearm. However, after getting chased down by the two demons. Then finding out your new skill of somewhat seeing into the future. They had made you into a sideshow, for cash.
As much as this seems cool, that your arm makes a cloud and sees into the future. How great? You rather not be a sideshow on the street and make a half-attempt prediction for cash. Just because you got cursed doesn't mean you mastered it.
"The divine seer has spoken, everyone! She is never wrong!" Yin shouts into the crowd, the people muttering and interested. Jin comes and grabs the shocked and heartbroken customer. Pushing him away.
"Step up, get your future told, or ask a question to the all-knowing seer!"
More and more people came up. Wanting their future read or questions answered. You sat there, bored doing the same thing for each customer. Either giving them good or bad news. Getting yelled at or having people taking you a little too seriously. Just another day, working for the two.
