𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞

Jamie Shah's POV

I let out a grunt as I throw my body down into the compartment where my friends sat, closing my eyes finally enjoying a moment to relax after a stressful morning. 

I feel myself slowly drifting to sleep until a ungodly noise forces me to open my eyes. 

"Are you actually stupid? There's no way you think Pansy likes you" 

"Says you Mr. I totally got bitches"

"And do, unlike some"

Who was I kidding thinking I could rest when I'm friends with these assholes?

"Will you both just shut the fuck up for five minutes" I snap, highly annoyed as I fix myself in my seat, sending a glare towards Theo and Draco's way. "You just got on the damn train."

"Oh is the princess mad he can't get any sleep" Theo says as he takes a seat next to me and a cheeky grin at the same time Draco is snickering and sitting across from us. 

My mouth opens ready to tell Theo off but I was interrupted by the rest of our group coming in and bringing their chaos with them. 

We all greeted each other recalling our memories from over the summer, engaging in constant banter and laughs from each other.

"I'm telling you that its so fucking easy you just throw it up and catch it in your mouth, pretty self explanatory" Matthew explains as he throws a piece of candy up, catching it up and giving off a smug look

"My turn" Lorenzo exclaims as he takes the bag and throws a piece into the air catching it with ease and comes back to face us with a shit eating grin "I always knew I was amazing"

"If he can do it then so can I" Blaise chuckles before throwing his piece up and completely missing, he scoffs as he picks it up but lingers as his attention had been caught. 

"Who's that girl?" He asked, not swaying his vision. Soon enough heads were peaking out the windows beside the compartment door

I move Theo's head out the way trying to get a good look but soon my curiosity is quickly fulfilled, "My sister" I sink back into my spot giving a heavy sigh.

The questions start rolling in, everyone talking over each other and some looking as if I betrayed them by not mentioning her. 

"Why did you never mention you had a sister?"

"How come she is just now coming here?"

"Does she have a boyfriend?"

I flick Theo on his head for that last question and giving him another glare "it's none of your business!" 

Lorenzo takes another look out the window, watching the mysterious girl in the compartment across, searching through her bag as she finds her clothes.

"I never mentioned her because I didn't think it was necessary, I mean she went to an entirely different school and as far as I knew she was going to stay there." 

A knock comes from the door, and as it slides open it reveals..

Y/N Shah's Pov: 

I look around the compartment full of boys, all of them just awkwardly staring at me like I've caught them up to no good

"Yes?" my brother says looking quite annoyed

"I just wanted to see if you had my sweater, I can't find it." I ask, leaning my body weight against the door.

He moves swiftly into his luggage as he begins to search and I try and stay concentrated on him but I feel the burning eyes of everyone in the room.

The only sound is Jamie's rummaging until a curly haired boy speaks up, "Y/N is it?" I give him a nod and small grin and he returns it with a sly smirk. He continues to speak and introduces himself as Matthew Riddle, "We never knew J had a sister, it's nice to meet you, my name is Blaise Zabini."  another boy speaks up.

Soon everyone starts introducing themselves except for the bleach blonde, and then a sweater is thrown my way and I am pushed out the room. Jamie follows out and closes the door behind him, taking my arm and leading me down the hall.

"What is with your attitude?" I huff out as he continues to drag me. "I was hoping for a peaceful train ride, one where you had stayed away from me and them" he snapped back at me.

I pull my arm from his grip, "I don't even know them, pardon me for needing my sweater and them having manners unlike you"

He stops in his tracks and turns to me "Y/N..." He cuts himself off as I raise an eyebrow. "Just worry about yourself and I will worry about me." I open my mouth ready to argue back but he already has begun walking off.

Merlin I hate him sometimes

I fix my my skirt and walk back into my compartment, entering into an intense argument between my two best friends, Riley and Casey. 

"Don't be such a fucking whore and maybe you wouldn't always be stuck in stupid situations!" Riley yells at the blondie in front of her.

"It wasn't even my fault! I told them to just leave the creature alone but noooo, it's always something, always" He argued back, I plop down. next to Riley, settled into my own thoughts. 

"Whatever" Riles rolled her eyes and turned her attention to me, "Don't you look cute in your uniform" She laughed and I let out a smile before shoving her face away. "Shut up, what are you two arguing about now?" I ask as I lay my head on her shoulder looking over to Casey. 

"Just how I got this," He rolls up his sleeve showing of a long scar and hiding it as quickly as he had shown it. "I don't even want to know" I sigh and they both continued to bicker as I let out a yawn, closing my eyes in the process. I barely had gotten any sleep due to the stress of what the year will bring, but as long as I got my friends by my side what could go wrong?

I continue to think about all possibilities until I fall asleep the rest of the journey.
