Y/N's Pov

Stepping into the hallway a small sigh leaves my lips as I admire my surroundings, this is an unfamiliar situation as beauxbatons wasn't as big or confusing.

"Are you just gonna stand there or head to dinner?" I turn to my right noticing the curly haired boy at my side, the one from Jamie's compartment. He turns my way and gives a soft smile, one that makes me melt instantly. "The great hall is this way" He adds as he takes notice of the robes I had been given not long ago.

He begins walking straight ahead and I follow aimlessly , "My name is Blaise" he says to me as he slows his pace, walking by my side. I give a small smile, "Y/N Shah"

Me and Blaise walked in silence for a bit before he spoke up "Jamie never said anything about having siblings, he doesn't really talk about your family if I really think about it"

I shrug as he continues to talk as no words can come to mind and I couldn't bring myself to lie to him or myself and pretend that didn't hurt my heart to know my brother hadn't even mentioned my name or my existence.

Jamie and I were the ones with the deepest connection compared to our other siblings, maybe because we're twins to him but in my eyes he was my best friend, he was always there when I needed him and likewise.

When we started going to separate schools is when our personalities changed and we drifted farther apart, or maybe it was just a side I had never seen before, one that I didn't want to see but I always mentioned him to my friends and I can't understand why he wouldn't.

I had been so caught up in all of the feelings and memories I hadn't realized we made it to the great hall until Blaise waved his hand in front of my face. "Y/N? You good"

I smiled and gave him a nod as I looked around at the scene in front of me, candles everywhere, copious amounts of food, a sea full of colors and in the front and center of it all, a hat.

Blaise led me to the slytherin table where Riley had saved me a seat next her, once sat I turned to her and began asking her a Blaise a billion questions as he sat across from us, they explained the first night and the contents such as the sorting ceremony, the feast, and a sort of orientation to learn how to get around.

Once dinner was over the students made their way to the dorms. "I still can't believe I'm here.."
I heaved a sigh, following Riley into my new room, and at the sight of my bed I collapsed and shut my eyes.

She laughed and fell on top of me "Get used to it because you're never leaving" we both laughed and talked about random shit, just enjoying one of many moments before a knock came.

"Who is—" Riley and I sat up as Blaise came barreling into the room with another guy with black looking eyes and tan skin. "Do you just knock down everyone's door or are we special?" Riley rolled her eyes as Blaise took a seat on the bed, I sat up and laughed as they bickered amongst themselves, "ANYWAYS, we wanted to tell you both to get ready" Blaise said as he pointed at him and the other boy, "and for what?" Riley asked, pulling her knees to her chest "It's a welcome back type of dumb shit and Y/N needs to be acquainted, right Mattheo?" Blaise explained and the guy named Mattheo began to speak "Enzo and Theo are throwing it and it's a fucking busy so they sent us to get people" Once again Riley rolled her eyes before turning to me and asking if I wanted to go "It's up to you hon, I could care less"

I thought about it and how I could maybe try and talk to my brother or even just make friends and what could be the worst thing to happen? "I'm down" I gave a smile as Blaise gave me a high five and told us to be there in five, and just like that they both were gone.

"This shit better have drinks" Riley shook her head as we started getting ready.

I started writing this while in the car and I got sick so it's not super good or long but I didn't want to procrastinate lol
