Y/N's POV:
Professor Sprout nodded at me after checking out the lab I presented to her. "Wonderful Y/N, keep it up" I smiled and returned back to my seat.

"Show off" Casey snickered as I rolled my eyes "At least I've got a good mark" I smirked as I packed my bag and headed out the class with him alongside me.

It's been a week and I've fully adjusted and made good friends, but the person I thought would be one of them, turned out to be someone I want nothing to do with.

Flashback woooo

I continued knocking on Astoria's door, it's been 15 minutes and I'm still waiting for her to come, she has my tie and I need it before classes tomorrow.

"Merlin.." I cursed under my breath as I reach to knock again but once my fist was raised the door flew open, revealing Lorenzo Berkshire with his shirt undone, a hickey on his neck, and one of the smuggest looks I seen.

My mouth opened trying to form a sentence but nothing came out as a small shade of red appeared over my cheeks, embarrassed from what I'm seeing in front of me. "Y/N right?" He sighed

At the sound of my name Astoria came running to the door in shambles, handing me my tie and awkwardly laughing, "don't tell the prefects about this.." Just as fast as the door opened it closed again, I could hear their voices as I stood there confused and a but annoyed

I shook my head and turned to head back to my dorm...

A sigh escaped my lips as I recalled the events and shook my head immediately, it wasn't like I wasn't friends with him because I was jealous, it was just a weird encounter after our first meeting and I mean, he didn't even remember my name? Even after the amount of time we spent talking.

"Did either of you do the potions work?" Eve asked as she joined alongside us on our walk to our next class, I nodded and Casey thought for a minute, "Maybe?" I laughed as he pushed me a bit, "You prove my point" He said.

"We can do it next period, pretty pretty please help us Y/N!!!" Eve broke out her puppy dog eyes, "With cherry's on top" Casey added and followed suit with her actions. I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Only this one time"

"That's what you said last time!" I raised a brow, "So you don't want my help?" She gasped and I laughed, "I was kidding!"

We were a few of the last people to make it into the classroom and once we were all seated Snape began explaining a project, we were to each create a potion that would harm along with the antidote for it.

After explaining the project Snape began listing of the pairs for the project, "...Ms. Granger and Ms. Chang will be a group...and finally, Ms. Shaw and Mr. Berkshire" I sighed and cursed myself "Merlin.. It's fine I'll only talk to him to him about the project, nothing else..!"

Lost in my thoughts, struggling to form a plan to keep minimal interaction with Enzo I didn't notice the person in mind had taken a seat next to me.

"Y/N.. Earth to Y/N!" He snapped in front of my face, shaking me from my thoughts and earning him a eye roll

He snickered at my response, "So what do you want to do for this potion hm?"

I turned to look at my book and ran my fingers down the list looking for something as easy as possible. "What about this one?, Looks easy enough."

"Veritaserum.. The user who takes this serum may be subject to answer any question forcefully... Few ways to overcome... Occuserum on next page.." Enzo read off the description as I wrote the list of ingredients. "Sure why not, maybe it'll allow me to get to know you better hmm, what do you say Y/N" I felt color rising to my cheeks and the way my name flowed out of his mouth, and him moving closer didn't help.

"What makes you think I'll be the one taking the potion?" A smug grin formed on his mouth, I rolled my eyes and looked away. Of all people to be partners with why him,, Snape you As-
